After breakfast, tour Anchorage’s historic downtown, Lake Hood, Earthquake Park and the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Travel along the scenic Seward Highway to Whittier, then cruise through Prince William Sound to Valdez. Watch for marine wildlife, glaciers and towering mountains along the way. After breakfast, discover Fairbanks and Alaska’s Gold Rush history on a sightseeing tour featuring the Museum of the North. Travel by motorcoach from Fairbanks to Denali National Park. Enjoy an interpretive hike along Otto Lake, a “Welcome to Denali” presentation and free time at Glitter Gulch. After breakfast, explore Denali National Park on the narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour. Look for bears, moose, caribou and Dall sheep while learning about the park’s wildlife and landscapes.
