  • The tour will operate with a driver-guide in a deluxe Sprinter van if there are nine or fewer passengers on the tour
  • Triple and Quad occupancy have two double beds in the room
  • Gratuities to Tour Directors and Drivers are not included unless specified. Gratuity standards are $9 per person, per day for the tour director and $7 per person, per day for the driver

DAY 1: ANCHORAGE ARRIVAL

Upon arrival in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, you will be greeted by a local representative who will assist with your transfer to the designated hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay in Anchorage, preparing for the adventures that await in this captivating destination.

DAY 2: ANCHORAGE TO DENALI

Indulge in a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day. Board the motorcoach for a scenic journey north towards Denali National Park. Along the way, the Parks Highway will treat you to breathtaking views, and there will be several stops to appreciate the surroundings. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of the majestic Denali and the wildlife that inhabits the area. Cap off the day with a welcome dinner. Rest for the night in Denali, anticipating the adventures that await in this spectacular region. Meals: B, D

DAY 3: DENALI NATIONAL PARK

Start your day with a satisfying breakfast before embarking on a journey into Denali National Park. Today's highlight is the Tundra Wilderness Tour, a five to six-hour adventure that takes you deep into the wilderness in search of bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This narrated tour provides valuable insights into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region, complete with a snack on the bus for your enjoyment.

As part of the tour, make an interpretive stop at the Adolf Murie cabin, offering a glimpse into the history and science of this vast landscape. The afternoon is yours to explore the pristine area at your leisure. You can choose to participate in a complimentary park service activity or opt for one of the many optional tours available. Options include mild or wild river rafting, flightseeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River, or a visit to an Iditarod champion’s award-winning dog kennel. Note that tours in early May and September may be shortened due to road conditions. Meals: B

DAY 4: DENALI TO TALKEETNA

Enjoy a delightful breakfast to begin your fourth day. The morning is yours to spend at leisure, with optional tours available for your exploration. Later, you'll be transferred to the Denali Rail Depot, where you'll board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic rail journey southward to the charming town of Talkeetna. This town has a rich history, starting as a trading post during the gold discovery in the Susitna River. Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty along the way as you relax in the comfort of the railcar. Meals: B

DAY 5: TALKEETNA TO SEWARD

As you traverse the scenic Turnagain Arm, be on the lookout for Dall sheep perched high up in the rocky cliffs. The journey offers opportunities to spot moose, bears, and eagles, adding an extra layer of excitement to your travels. As you navigate the waters, explore the face of a glacier and keep your eyes wide open for the diverse wildlife that inhabits the region. Seals, sea lions, sea otters, whales, walruses, bears, eagles, and puffins are among the remarkable creatures you may encounter during this half-day exploration cruise.
