DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PARIS

Welcome to Paris! Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel. Private airport transfers are available as an optional extra. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking up the atmosphere of the French capital.

In the evening, you may choose to enjoy an optional three-course dinner at a traditional Parisian brasserie. Overnight in Paris.

DAY 2: PARIS HIGHLIGHTS & MONTMARTRE

Discover the timeless elegance of Paris on a guided walking tour, beginning at the Louvre and continuing past the beautifully landscaped Tuileries Gardens to Place de la Concorde. Then enjoy a Seine cruise with Bateaux Parisiens, departing from the foot of the Eiffel Tower and offering a fresh perspective on the city’s famous landmarks, elegant bridges and riverside architecture.

Enjoy free time for lunch in the fashionable Le Marais district, known for its historic streets, boutiques and inviting cafés. In the afternoon, join a guided walk through Montmartre, discovering the artistic heritage and village-like charm of this much-loved Parisian neighbourhood.

In the evening, you may choose to enjoy an optional tour of Paris in a vintage Citroën 2CV, a memorable way to see the capital after dark. Overnight in Paris. Meals: B

DAY 3: LOIRE VALLEY CHÂTEAUX & WINE TASTING

Depart Paris and travel to the enchanting Loire Valley. Your first stop is the spectacular Château de Chambord, the largest château in the region, admired for its grand Renaissance architecture, distinctive towers, and elaborate roofline.

Continue to the banks of the River Cher for a leisurely cruise aboard La Bélandre. Enjoy the peaceful riverside scenery and beautiful views of Château de Chenonceau, elegantly spanning the river with its graceful arches.

Later, visit local wine cellars for a tasting of Loire Valley wines and an introduction to the region’s winemaking traditions. Continue to Tours for your overnight stay. Meals: B

DAY 4: VILLANDRY GARDENS, DINAN & SAINT-MALO

Begin the day with a visit to the magnificent gardens of Château de Villandry, celebrated for their elegant Renaissance design, colourful ornamental planting and carefully arranged geometric patterns.

Take in the beautifully landscaped grounds before continuing to the medieval town of Dinan. Discover its remarkably well-preserved half-timbered houses, winding cobbled streets and impressive fortifications, all rich in historic charm.

Then travel to Saint-Malo, a fortified port town known for its imposing ramparts and coastal setting. Dinner and overnight in the Saint-Malo area. Meals: B, D

DAY 5: CANCALE & MONT-SAINT-MICHEL

Depart for the picturesque fishing port of Cancale, renowned as the oyster capital of Brittany. Visit the lively oyster market at the harbour and take in the coastal scenery as you discover this charming seaside town.

Continue to the legendary Mont-Saint-Michel, whose striking silhouette rises above the surrounding bay. Enjoy a traditional lunch at La Ferme before spending free time exploring the medieval village, with its narrow lanes, stone buildings and winding pathways.

DAY 6: D-DAY BEACHES, BAYEUX & CAEN

Continue to the medieval town of Bayeux, renowned for its Norman heritage and beautifully preserved old town. Enjoy free time for lunch and a chance to soak up the atmosphere of its charming historic streets.

In the afternoon, return to Caen for an exterior tour of Château de Caen, followed by an included visit to the historic Abbaye aux Hommes. Continue through Normandy with a stop to taste local specialities, including the celebrated Pont-l’Évêque cheese and traditional cider, offering a delicious introduction to the region’s culinary heritage.

Cross the impressive Pont de Normandie before travelling to the spectacular chalk cliffs of Étretat. Admire the dramatic coastal scenery and distinctive rock formations before continuing to Rouen. Overnight in Rouen. Meals: B

DAY 8: ROUEN & RETURN TO PARIS

Admire the magnificent Rouen Cathedral, celebrated for its intricate Gothic architecture.
