  • The final price will vary and is also based on the month of travel
  • Prices are subject to change
  • The tour will operate with a driver-guide in a deluxe Sprinter van if there are nine or fewer passengers on the tour
  • Triple and Quad occupancy have two double beds in the room
  • Gratuities to Tour Directors and Drivers are not included unless specified. Gratuity standards are $9 per person, per day for the tour director and $7 per person, per day for the driver

Itinerary

DAY 1: FAIRBANKS ARRIVAL

Arrive in Fairbanks, Alaska’s Golden Heart City, and transfer to your hotel using the courtesy shuttle or optional meet-and-transfer service.

DAY 2: FAIRBANKS

After breakfast, discover Fairbanks and Alaska’s Gold Rush history on a sightseeing tour featuring the Museum of the North. Enjoy free time downtown before cruising the Chena River aboard a classic sternwheeler. This evening, consider an optional authentic Alaskan salmon bake. Meals: B

DAY 3: FAIRBANKS TO DENALI NATIONAL PARK

Travel by motorcoach from Fairbanks to Denali National Park. Enjoy an interpretive hike along Otto Lake, a “Welcome to Denali” presentation, and free time at Glitter Gulch. This evening, relax at the lodge or choose an optional dinner theatre, rafting, flightseeing, jet boat safari or dog kennel experience. Meals: B

Accommodation at the Grizzly Bear Resort, Denali National Park, or similar

DAY 4: DENALI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, journey deep into Denali National Park on the narrated Tundra Wilderness Tour. Look for bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep while learning about the region’s wildlife and landscapes. A snack is included. Tours in early May and September may be shortened due to road conditions. Meals: B

DAY 5: DENALI NATIONAL PARK TO ANCHORAGE

After breakfast, board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic journey from Denali to Anchorage. Look for views of Denali and black bears along the Susitna River while enjoying dinner and stories of Alaska aboard the train. Overnight in Anchorage. Meals: B, D

DAY 6: ANCHORAGE DEPARTURE

After breakfast, your Alaska adventure comes to an end. Transfer independently to Anchorage Airport, or purchase an optional transfer service in advance. Meals: B
