  • Hotel services in the United States customarily do not include breakfast. If you do not wish to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant (where available), you may frequently find coffee shops and restaurants close by which serve good and inexpensive breakfasts. Some hotels do offer a continental breakfast. Usually, this continental breakfast is basic and contains coffee and pastries. Variations between the different hotels may result in the following also being available, cereal, cheese, fruit, etc
  • Each passenger traveling on an escorted tour is allowed one piece of checked baggage per person due to space limitations. Additional luggage will be charged at $7.00 per person per day (price is subject to change)
  • Due to the nature of this holiday, bags are handled many times, so a durable, reasonably sturdy, and clearly labeled bag is required. The Tour Manager will issue you a special luggage tag which should remain on your customer’s bag at all times to help ensure the bag is delivered to, and retrieved from, the hotel room at each destination
  • All coaches are equipped with air-conditioning and an onboard lavatory. Additionally, coaches may have the following onboard amenities: wi-fi, footrests, luggage nets, movable seats, individually adjustable air conditioning, etc
  • Complimentary breakfast may be offered by a hotel and discontinued at any time with or without notice
  • Child 11 years and under with 2 adults sharing existing bedding with minimum child age is 7 years (child rates are on request)
  • We can not accept bookings on motorcoach tours for children less than seven (7) years of age. For all tours, children and young adults under the age of 21 must be accompanied by and share their room with an adult at least 21 years of age. Some hotels may also require that at least one of the room occupants is 21 years of age or older

Itinerary

Day 1: New York City Arrival

Your NYC to Miami trip begins when you arrive in New York City. You transfer independently to your hotel where you will meet with your Tour Director in the evening.

Day 2: Travel From New York City to Philadelphia to Washington, D.C.

Today, our journey begins by leaving Manhattan and traveling to Washington, D.C. via Philadelphia, the birthplace of the nation, where you will stop to see Independence Mall and Liberty Bell.

Day 3: Touring Washington, D.C

Enjoy a city tour with such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, the F.B.I. Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House, and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the JFK Memorial. Spend the remainder of the day exploring some of the many museums comprising the Smithsonian Institute or stroll the banks of the Potomac River.

Day 4: Travel From Washington, D.C. to Williamsburg to Roanoke

Depart this morning for Williamsburg, Virginia’s colonial capital. Walk along with the Duke of Gloucester Street to visit some of the impressive public buildings, colonial houses, and the College of William and Mary (admissions not included).

Day 5: Travel From Roanoke to Blue Ridge Mountains to Great Smoky Mountains to Gatlinburg

Travel along portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway/Mountains before entering the breathtaking scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains and National Park. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Gatlinburg and explore some of the unique restaurants on the main street during this evening’s leisure time.

Day 6: Travel From Gatlinburg to Nashville

Continue today through Knoxville, the state’s third-largest city before you arrive in the early afternoon in Music City USA, Nashville.

Day 7: Travel From Nashville to Memphis

Travel across the countryside and arrive in Memphis, the city known for blues music, cotton, and home of Sun Records. Take a city tour including Beale Street, the heart of the blues music scene. This afternoon, fans of “The King of Rock and Roll” have the opportunity to tour Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley (optional).

Day 8: Travel From Memphis to Jackson to New Orleans

Today’s tour takes you to Mississippi, the Magnolia State. Pass through Jackson, the state capital, and continue to Louisiana and New Orleans, the home of the infamous Mardi Gras celebrations. Tonight, immerse yourself in Creole culture on board an authentic Mississippi Riverboat dinner cruise and enjoy the rhythms of a Dixieland jazz band (optional).

Day 9: Tour New Orleans

Enjoy a full day at leisure to take in the French flavor and grandeur of New Orleans. Explore the French Quarter with its trademark wrought-iron balconies overlooking the narrow cobblestone streets. Stand atop one of the infamous New Orleans levees and gain the perspective of how these unique feats of architecture guard the city.

Day 10: Travel From New Orleans to The Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola

Travel along the Mississippi Gulf Coast through Mobile, AL to the city of Pensacola. Visit one of the top 10 rose gardens in America at the Bellingrath Home (admission included). While visiting Pensacola Beach, walk alongside the swaying sea oats, dipping your toes in the warm waters of the emerald green Gulf of Mexico.

Day 11: Travel From Pensacola to Orlando

Travel along the Florida panhandle to Ocala, known for thoroughbred horse ranches. Continue through central Florida, the heart of America’s citrus industry, and on to Orlando for an evening arrival at your hotel.

Day 12: Spend a Day Relaxing in Orlando
