Your adventure begins with an early-morning pickup from your Rome hotel, followed by a comfortable coach journey through the scenic Italian countryside. After a short stop along the way, continue south to Pompeii, the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled beneath Mount Vesuvius.
Join an expert licensed guide for an immersive 2.5-hour tour of the Pompeii archaeological site. After breakfast, board a ferry to the glamorous island of Capri, one of Italy’s most captivating Mediterranean destinations. Weather and local conditions permitting, enjoy a boat ride to the famous Blue Grotto, where sunlight enters an underwater opening and illuminates the sea with a magical blue glow.
After visiting the Blue Grotto, explore Capri at your own pace. Wander through its charming streets, browse elegant boutiques, admire the spectacular island scenery, or relax at an inviting café. Free time is also provided for lunch at your own expense.
Later, return to Marina Grande and board the ferry back to the mainland. Continue to Sorrento for dinner and another relaxing overnight stay. Meals: B, D
