DAY 1: ROME ARRIVAL
Benvenuti a Roma! After you arrive at the airport, make your way to your hotel (an optional private transfer is available). Enjoy your first day in the city at your leisure.

In the evening, make your way to the meeting point for the departure of the Rome at Sunset tour. The local expert guide will lead you to discover the wonders of the Eternal City, charming by day and absolutely romantic at sunset. After the walking tour, there is only one thing missing to end this experience—relax by enjoying a creamy and tasty Gelato—it’s on us! Return to your hotel on your own and overnight stay.

A hop-on-hop-off daily ticket is at your disposal. Explore Rome by riding one of the Open-top Hop-on-Hop-off buses and see your favorite city landmarks from a different perspective! The open-top panoramic buses allow you to enjoy spectacular views of the most iconic monuments of the Eternal City. Hop on board, relax, listen to the audio commentary, and get on and off at any of the eight stops along the route. The included bus ticket will be valid for a day and offers audio commentary.

DAY 2: ROME > NAPLES > POMPEII > SORRENTO
After breakfast, departure by coach heading south crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania. Arrive in Naples and enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. Afterward, you will leave Naples and travel south towards Mount Vesuvius and the town of Pompeii. Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional Neapolitan pizza lunch. After lunch, you will enter one of the most important archaeological sites in the world for a guided tour. The ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii.
After the visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento for dinner (in Sorrento, we highly recommend that men wear long trousers during dinner). Meals: B, L, D

DAY 3: SORRENTO > CAPRI > SORRENTO
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting excursion to the island of Capri. One of the most exclusive summer destinations in the Mediterranean! Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you will admire the dreamy Blue Grotto on a small rowboat. Afterward, enjoy roaming the island at your own pace. Once back on the mainland, return back to your hotel in Sorrento. Meals: B, D

DAY 4: SORRENTO > PALERMO
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Sorrento. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the port of Naples, where you will board the ferry to Palermo. Let the waves rock you to sleep. Dinner and breakfast are not included on the overnight ferry. Meals: B

DAY 5: PALERMO ARRIVAL

DAY 6: PALERMO & MONREALE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then head out on a morning excursion to Monreale, recently included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, an ancient royal town famous for its almonds, olive oil, and citrus fruits, as well as for its fine Norman architecture. Visit the stunning Cathedral of Monreale and then enjoy some shopping for local delicatessen and souvenirs.
Back to Palermo and continue with a walking tour of the city. Wander the streets of the Old Town, hear tales of Palermo’s 3,000-year history, and discover attractions like Palermo Cathedral. Walk inside the impressive-looking place of worship and marvel at its arches, cupolas, and mosaics – with an incredible mix of influences coming from several dominations on the island. DAY 7: PALERMO > ERICE > SALINE > AGRIGENTO
Early breakfast and departure to Erice, a medieval village stacked into the side of Monte San Giuliano. Continue to visit the Saline, an extraordinary lagoon, where history, nature, and archeology find a perfect synthesis and allow the visitor to try different, unique and charming experiences.
Afterward, we’ll set off to Marsala, whose lands are known for its Marsala wine. You’ll take part in a sensorial experience, for you will visit a traditional tavern and taste regional products during a light lunch.
Return to your coach and travel to Agrigento, your final destination of the day. Visit Ancient Greek monuments and ruins at the Valley of Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Check-in at your hotel in the evening. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8: AGRIGENTO > RAGUSA

Continue your journey along the enchanting south coast, heading towards Syracuse, nestled on the southeastern tip of Sicily. Upon arrival, cross one of the city’s iconic bridges to reach the captivating island of Ortygia, the ancient nucleus of Syracuse. Here, you’ll encounter a treasure trove of Baroque churches and medieval palaces, each steeped in history and architectural splendor.
As the day draws to a close, make your way to Taormina, where you’ll be welcomed at your centrally located hotel. Settle in and savor a delectable dinner, embracing the essence of this enchanting destination. Meals: B, D

DAY 10: TAORMINA & MOUNT ETNA
After breakfast, head off to Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe and the highest mountain in Italy. Learn about volcanic activity and marvel at the old lava fields and black magma rock that comprises Etna’s landscape. If weather permits, you have a chance to climb to the summit (1800 m). After, return to Taormina, the beautiful and romantic town located on Mount Tauro. Return to Taormina in the afternoon and spend the rest of your day at leisure. Meals: B
