Hotel services in the United States customarily do not include breakfast. If you do not wish to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant (where available), you may frequently find coffee shops and restaurants close by which serve good and inexpensive breakfasts. Some hotels do offer a continental breakfast. Usually, this continental breakfast is basic and contains coffee and pastries. Variations between the different hotels may result in the following also being available, cereal, cheese, fruit, etc
Each passenger traveling on an escorted tour is allowed one piece of checked baggage per person due to space limitations. Additional luggage will be charged at $7.00 per person per day (price is subject to change)
Due to the nature of this holiday, bags are handled many times, so a durable, reasonably sturdy, and clearly labeled bag is required. The Tour Manager will issue you a special luggage tag which should remain on your customer’s bag at all times to help ensure the bag is delivered to, and retrieved from, the hotel room at each destination
All coaches are equipped with air-conditioning and an onboard lavatory. Additionally, coaches may have the following onboard amenities: wi-fi, footrests, luggage nets, movable seats, individually adjustable air conditioning, etc
Complimentary breakfast may be offered by a hotel and discontinued at any time with or without notice
Child 11 years and under with 2 adults sharing existing bedding with minimum child age is 7 years (child rates are on request)
We can not accept bookings on motorcoach tours for children less than seven (7) years of age. For all tours, children and young adults under the age of 21 must be accompanied by and share their room with an adult at least 21 years of age. Some hotels may also require that at least one of the room occupants is 21 years of age or older

DAY 1: SAN FRANCISCO ARRIVAL

Arrive at San Francisco International Airport and transfer independently to your hotel. Your Tour Director will meet you this afternoon.

DAY 2: SAN FRANCISCO

Discover why so many leave their hearts in San Francisco. Enjoy a half-day city tour of the highlights, from bustling Union Square to the sounds of the iconic cable cars. The afternoon is free to cruise the bay, shop, ride the cable cars, or simply explore at your own pace, with your Tour Director available to help plan your activities.

DAY 3: YOSEMITE & FRESNO

Leave San Francisco and travel through California’s fertile Central Valley, famous for its orchards and vineyards, before arriving at Yosemite National Park. Marvel at towering waterfalls, granite icons like El Capitan and Half Dome, and diverse wildlife. Explore the park by motorcoach with time on the valley floor to take in the stunning scenery. Overnight in Fresno.

DAY 4: TRAVEL TO MOJAVE DESERT & LAS VEGAS

Get an early start for the drive south through the Central Valley, across the mountains, and into the Mojave Desert. Enter Nevada and pass the casinos at the state line before arriving in Las Vegas—once a small farming town, briefly booming in the silver rush, and now the entertainment capital of the world with dazzling casinos, shows, and nightlife.

DAY 5: LAS VEGAS (DEATH VALLEY OPTIONAL)

Enjoy a full day in Las Vegas at your leisure—shop at designer outlets, relax by the pool, or join an optional excursion. Your Tour Director will be happy to provide details.

DAY 6: JOURNEY TO CEDAR CITY & BRYCE CANYON

Continue north through the Mojave Desert into Arizona, then quickly on to Utah. Drive the scenic Virgin River Gorge as the landscape shifts from desert to mountain plateau. Enter Utah, the “Beehive State,” with elevations averaging 6,000 feet. Over the next few days, you’ll explore the Colorado Plateau, home to stunning national parks. Today’s highlight is Bryce Canyon, where spectacular viewpoints like Bryce and Inspiration Point reveal a wonderland of towering hoodoos—unique rock spires carved by nature.

DAY 7: THE GRAND CANYON & WILLIAMS

Depart Bryce Canyon and travel through Kanab, once a hub for classic Western films that earned it the nickname “Little Hollywood.” Continue past Page, Arizona, and into the Navajo Nation, where you’ll see traditional Hogan dwellings, sweeping desert landscapes, and the vivid colors of the Painted Desert. Journey onward to Grand Canyon National Park—one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Consider an optional helicopter flight for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view. Overnight in the historic Route 66 town of Williams.

DAY 8: ROUTE 66 SELIGMAN, KINGMAN & LAUGHLIN

After breakfast, depart Williams, once a thriving railroad hub and the gateway to the Grand Canyon Railway. Travel along Historic Route 66 and step back into the 1950s and 60s with a stop in Seligman—perfect for souvenir shopping, from vintage signs to Route 66 T-shirts. Continue to Kingman, the largest town on this stretch of the Mother Road, before crossing the Colorado River back into Nevada. Tonight, overnight in Laughlin, a resort town founded by entrepreneur Don Laughlin. Enjoy the casinos or take a relaxing stroll along the riverfront.

DAY 9: TRAVEL TO PALM SPRINGS & LOS ANGELES

Start the day with a drive back into California, heading to Palm Springs—once the winter retreat of Hollywood’s biggest stars and still famed for its Spanish Revival and Mid-Century Modern architecture, as well as vibrant arts festivals. Continue to Los Angeles for an orientation tour highlighting downtown, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills before arriving at your hotel for the night.

DAY 10: LOS ANGELES DEPARTURE
