DAY 1: WELCOME TO CATANIA
Welcome to Sicily! Upon arrival at the airport make your way to your hotel in the heart of Catania. An optional private transfer is available.

DAY 2: CATANIA > SYRACUSE > NOTO > RAGUSA
Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Syracuse to visit the largest and most powerful Greek colony in Sicily. Visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis the old town center of Ortigia, with its stunning Piazza Duomo and Cathedral.
Continue to the UNESCO city of Noto, the capital of Sicilian baroque. Walk through the city streets and admire the skill and ingenious creativity of local craftsmen. Noto’s Baroque architecture is a plethora of elegant curves, floral weaves, perspective views, palaces and gardens, capitals, and cherubs that adorn the façades of churches and monasteries. At the end of the visit transfer to Ragusa, check in to the hotel, have dinner, and overnight stay. Meals: B, D

DAY 3: RAGUSA > MODICA > PIAZZA ARMERINA > AGRIGENTO
Breakfast in the hotel and visit Ragusa Ibla with its beautiful churches and the Ibleo garden. Then proceed to Modica, to admire its many baroque-style treasures, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Afterward, visit and stop to taste the typical products of the area.
Departure to Piazza Armerina and visit the splendid Villa Romana del Casale, a building from the late imperial period and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to the hotel in Agrigento. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4: AGRIGENTO > MARSALA > SALINE > PALERMO
Breakfast in the hotel and visit the famous Valley of the Temples declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure for Marsala, which preserves a multitude of signs of the Phoenician, Arab, and Norman dominations. Visit a local winery and indulge in wine tasting with lunch.
Continue to the “Saline”, the salt pans, containing the salt which the Mediterranean Sea is particularly rich in around this area. Even today the salt marshes represent one of the oldest salt mining industries in the world.
In the evening, arrival in Palermo, check-in at the hotel. Meals: B, L

DAY 5: PALERMO > MONREALE > PALERMO
Breakfast in the hotel and departure to visit Monreale, with its impressive Arab-Norman Cathedral and stunning Cloister. Return to Palermo. This city preserves monuments of the Arab-Norman period, including the beautiful Cathedral, the fascinating Byzantine Church of the Martorana, and the Palatine Chapel, the highest example from the historical-artistic point of view of the coexistence between cultures and religions.
Along with the visit stop for a food surprise in a local bakery. Meals: B, L

DAY 6: PALERMO > FAVIGNANA (AEGADIAN ISLANDS)
After breakfast, a private transfer to Trapani port. Boarding by hydrofoil to Favignana, “the great butterfly on the sea” as defined by the painter Salvatore Fiume in the 1970s, the capital and largest island of the Egadi archipelago. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Meals: B, D
DAY 7: FAVIGNANA BOAT EXCURSION
The day will start with the departure from Favignana harbor, for a relaxing tour of the island. The first stop of this tour will be in Cala Rossa, one of the most known destinations of Favignana, whose cliff is characterized by wonderful tuff caves surrounded by blue and crystalline waters. Later you will get to Bue Marino, Cala Azzurra – famous for its sandy white beach and the most crystalline sea of the island – and Lido Burrone where you will enjoy free time for a dip.
Arrive on the southern side of the island, and enjoy a relaxing lunch on board. After lunch, enjoy time for snorkeling or swimming to discover the charming coves. In the afternoon, depart for Cala Rotonda for a swim, break with coffee and pastries, and return to Favignana, after one last stop to Cala del Pozzo for a swim. Meals: B, D

DAY 8: FAVIGNANA
After breakfast, enjoy the free time available to discover this beautiful island. Walking around the two squares of the city, you will be attracted by traditional Mediterranean architecture, popular for its white walls and blue or green windows.
Do not miss the chance to have a swim in one of the splendid sea coves or, as an alternative, choose an optional boat excursion to Levanzo. Meals: B, D

DAY 9: FAVIGNANA > TRAPANI
After breakfast, meet your driver for a private transfer to the port to board a hydrofoil to Trapani. Upon arrival, you will spend the free afternoon in the lovely Trapani city center, also known as the “City of 100 churches” and popular for its which hosts an impressive collection of fine local coral art crafts. Trapani’s origins are connected to Carthage, the most bitter Rome’s enemy. You will have the chance to stroll among the nice alleys, discovering its Arab influence. Meals: B, D
