Itinerary

DAY 1: NAPLES ARRIVAL

Arrive and complete the check-in process at the hotel (check-in is available from 4:00 pm). Before dinner, gather with our guide for a welcoming cocktail and an introduction to the tour. Enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night in Naples or the surrounding area. Meals: D

DAY 2: ISLAND OF CAPRI EXCURSION

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by boat to the enchanting island of Capri, a captivating blend of nature, history, and glamour. Visit the charming Villa San Michele, followed by free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Gardens of Augustus to admire breathtaking views of the iconic Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Enjoy some additional free time before meeting the group at the pier for the return journey.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Meals: B, D

DAY 3: SORRENTO & POMPEII

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Sorrento and enjoy a guided walk through its charming historic center. Visit a renowned local factory for a Limoncello-making demonstration and tasting, followed by a stop at a traditional farm to sample local products and wines.

In the afternoon, explore the world-famous ruins of Pompeii, the ancient Roman city dramatically buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

In the evening, savor dinner at a traditional restaurant, enhanced by live musical accompaniment in the style of the beloved Neapolitan “Posteggia.”

DAY 4: NAPLES HIGHLIGHTS & TRANSFER TO SICILY

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, immerse yourself in the vibrant soul of Naples, a city where history, faith, and flavor intertwine. Stroll through its historic center, exploring the majestic Church of Santa Chiara and its serene cloister, and admire the Cathedral of San Gennaro, the heart of Neapolitan devotion. Wander along San Gregorio Armeno, where skilled artisans craft intricate nativity scenes and handmade treasures.

Savor authentic Neapolitan cuisine with lunch featuring a classic pizza tasting and a traditional local dish, celebrating the city’s world-famous culinary heritage. In the afternoon, delve deeper into Naples’ past with a guided visit to the Catacombs of San Gennaro, followed by a leisurely walk through the colorful Rione Sanità district — one of the city’s most authentic neighborhoods.

Later, transfer to the Port of Naples and board your overnight ferry to Palermo. Enjoy a relaxing evening at sea and a free dinner on board, as you sail toward the captivating island of Sicily. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 5: ERICE, MARSALA WINE EXPERIENCE, SELINUNTE & AGRIGENTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Arrival in Palermo and departure for the medieval hilltop town of Erice, where you’ll enjoy a short visit and a delightful tasting of traditional almond sweets, a local specialty.

Continue to Marsala, renowned for its historic wine cellars. Visit a local winery to sample fine regional wines, accompanied by a light lunch showcasing Sicilian flavors.

In the afternoon, proceed to the Eastern Hill of Selinunte, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the Mediterranean, where history and myth come alive among ancient ruins.

Journey onward to Agrigento for hotel check-in and dinner. Afterward, experience the magic of the illuminated Valley of the Temples, a breathtaking view of one of Sicily’s most iconic landmarks by night. Meals: B, L, D

Note: If road closures prevent access to Erice, the visit will be replaced with Trapani (without the almond sweet tasting).

DAY 6: AGRIGENTO, PIAZZA ARMERINA, ROMAN VILLA DEL CASALE & EASTERN SICILY

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day with a guided visit to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage treasure.

Continue to Piazza Armerina to explore the extraordinary Roman Villa del Casale, celebrated for its remarkably preserved mosaics that bring to life scenes of daily life, mythology, and sport from the Roman Empire.

Enjoy a traditional lunch inspired by the culinary traditions of Ancient Rome, offering a unique gastronomic experience that connects past and present.

DAY 7: MOUNT ETNA EXCURSION

Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, traveling by coach up to an altitude of 1,900 meters. Here, you’ll have the chance to walk along the fascinating Silvestri Craters and take in the dramatic volcanic landscape during your free time.

The experience continues at a local winery, where you’ll savor fine Sicilian wines paired with regional specialties—an authentic taste of the island’s rich terroir.

In the afternoon, journey to Catania for a guided walk through its historic center, followed by free time for shopping or independent exploration.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. Meals: B, D

Note: In the event of adverse weather conditions, the excursion will reach 700 meters, with a stop in Zafferana Etnea to view the impressive remains of the 1992 eruption.
