DAY 1: WELCOME TO CATANIA
Welcome to Sicily! Upon arrival at the airport make your way to your hotel in the heart of Catania. An optional private transfer is available. Late afternoon, meet with your Tour Leader at the hotel for a short briefing Overnight in Catania.

DAY 2: CATANIA > SYRACUSE > NOTO > RAGUSA
Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Syracuse to visit the largest and most powerful Greek colony in Sicily. Visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis the old town center of Ortigia, with its stunning Piazza Duomo and Cathedral.
Continue to the UNESCO city of Noto, the capital of Sicilian baroque. Walk through the city streets and admire the skill and ingenious creativity of local craftsmen. Noto’s Baroque architecture is a plethora of elegant curves, floral weaves, perspective views, palaces and gardens, capitals, and cherubs that adorn the façades of churches and monasteries. At the end of the visit transfer to Ragusa, check in at the hotel, have dinner, and overnight stay. Meals: B, D

DAY 3: RAGUSA > MODICA > PIAZZA ARMERINA > AGRIGENTO
Breakfast in the hotel and visit Ragusa Ibla with its beautiful churches and the Ibleo garden. Then proceed to Modica, to admire its many baroque-style treasures, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Afterward, visit and stop to taste the typical products of the area.
Departure to Piazza Armerina and visit the splendid Villa Romana del Casale, a building from the late imperial period and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to the hotel in Agrigento. Dinner and accommodation. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4: AGRIGENTO > MARSALA > SALINE > PALERMO
Breakfast in the hotel and visit the famous Valley of the Temples declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure for Marsala, which preserves a multitude of signs of the Phoenician, Arab, and Norman dominations. Visit a local winery and indulge in wine tasting with lunch.
Continue to the “Saline”, the salt pans, containing the salt which the Mediterranean Sea is particularly rich in around this area. Even today the salt marshes represent one of the oldest salt mining industries in the world.
In the evening, arrival in Palermo, check-in at the hotel. Meals: B, L

DAY 5: PALERMO > MONREALE > PALERMO
Breakfast in the hotel and departure to visit Monreale, with its impressive Arab-Norman Cathedral and stunning Cloister. Return to Palermo. This city preserves monuments of the Arab-Norman period, including the beautiful Cathedral, the fascinating Byzantine Church of the Martorana, and the Palatine Chapel, the highest example from the historical-artistic point of view of the coexistence between cultures and religions. DAY 6: PALERMO > CEFALU > CATANIA
Breakfast in the hotel and departure to Cefalù, a beautiful medieval maritime village with its Norman Cathedral. Time at leisure to visit the famous Mandralisca Museum. Proceed to Catania, visit the old town center and its baroque architecture, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy a walk in the center, passing through the old Peschiera (old fish market) to reach the scenic Piazza del Duomo with its stunning Cathedral and the lava stone Elephant (symbol of the city). Stop in a bar to taste the local granita with brioche. Dinner and overnight stay In Catania. Meals: B, L

DAY 7: CATANIA > ETNA > TAORMINA > CATANIA
Breakfast in the hotel, and departure for a quick visit to a historic “fishmonger” (old fish market) before reaching Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe (3.350 m), and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, visit a beekeeping farm, to see the honey extraction laboratory and taste homemade honey and typical products of the area.
Proceed to Taormina, famous for its natural landscape, marine beauties, historical monuments, and unforgettable views of the sea. Visit the fascinating Greco-Roman theatre, which offers a breathtaking view of Naxos Bay.
The day will end with a beautiful panorama of the stunning Riviera of the Cyclops, a legendary stretch of coast north of Catania. Return to the hotel in Catania. Dinner and overnight stay. Meals: B, L

DAY 8: CATANIA > VALLETTA
After breakfast, free time to discover the city center of Catania. According to the flight schedule, meet your driver for a private transfer to the airport for a direct flight to Malta. The tour continues now without the tour leader. Arrive in Malta and private transfer to the hotel. Meals: B

DAY 9: VALLETTA > MDINA
After breakfast, meet your guide for a half-day excursion to discover the treasures of the charming capital Valletta. You will visit the wonderful Casa Rocca Piccola, the ancient palace of the sixteenth century that belonged to the Maltese nobility. Visit the Cathedral of St. John where you will admire the beautiful “Beheading of St. John the Baptist”, Caravaggio masterpiece, and the Barraca Gardens from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the picturesque port of Valletta.
Later on, you will visit the Grand Master’s Palace, nowadays the seat of the Maltese Parliament. Your tour continues on to Mdina, the former capital of Malta. You will visit the Cathedral of St. Paul and then you’ll have free time to walk along its lovely streets and discover its viewpoint from which to enjoy a splendid view. After the visit, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Meals: B

DAY 10 OPTION 1: COTTONERA > MARSAXLOKK > BLUE CAVE > DINGLI
Today the tour continues with a full-day excursion with a private driver and guide to discover the beauty of this magical island. You will reach Cottonera, also called “The Three Cities”, the three fortified cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa, and Cospicua. Afterward, you will visit the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk whose waterfront is decorated with traditional colorful fishing boats called “Luzzi”.
Continuing you will visit the town of Wied iz-Zurrieq where you will embark on an excursion towards the famous Blue Grotto, a beautiful and picturesque natural cave that reflects the fluorescent colors of the underwater flora. Your tour will continue onboard a private vehicle in the direction of Dingli through the Maltese countryside. Return to your hotel. Meals: B

DAY 10 OPTION 2: COMINO > BLUE LAGOON > GOZO > MALTA CAVES
After breakfast, a private driver will pick you up for another day of excursion in the Maltese archipelago. You will be accompanied to Bugibba, where you will board a comfortable boat for a fantastic mini cruise. Sailing through the north of the Maltese coast to the island of Comino; you will stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for about an hour. Time to take some pictures, sunbathe and have a swim in the turquoise waters of the bay or, if you prefer, you can relax in the bar of the boat which is equipped with drinks and snacks.
Afterward, you will reach Gozo for a visit of about 3 hours, discovering the most charming places of the island: Ta ‘Pinu, Dwejra, the capital Victoria with its historic market square, and the Citadelle St. Georges. At the end of the tour, you will return on board to circumnavigate Comino and visit the famous caves. Return to Bugibba in the late afternoon. Transfer to your hotel and overnight. Meals: B
