Your journey begins as you arrive in Catania, a city with a rich history and vibrant culture. You have the option to include a private airport transfer for added convenience and comfort. After your arrival, take the opportunity to unwind and immerse yourself in the charming Catania city center. Explore its historic streets, savor local cuisine, and soak up the unique atmosphere of this Sicilian gem.

DAY 2: CATANIA > SYRACUSE > NOTO > RAGUSA

Depart after breakfast for Syracuse to explore the impressive Archaeological Park of Neapolis, the largest Greek colony in Sicily. Visit the captivating old town center of Ortigia, featuring the stunning Piazza Duomo and its magnificent Cathedral.

Continue on to Noto, renowned as the “stone garden” and celebrated for its UNESCO-listed baroque architecture. Stroll through the city center, marveling at the craftsmanship displayed by local artisans. Noto’s baroque structures boast intricate details, from elegant curves to floral motifs, creating a visual feast. Conclude the day with a journey to Ragusa, where you’ll check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals: B, D

DAY 6: PALERMO > CEFALU > CATANIA

DAY 7: CATANIA > ETNA > TAORMINA > CATANIA

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a fascinating journey. Begin with a quick visit to a historic “fishmonger,” providing a glimpse into the vibrant local market scene.

Next, set your sights on Etna, the towering and active volcano that stands as the highest in Europe at 3,350 meters. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Etna Park encompasses a vast 59,000 hectares, boasting a diverse and flourishing flora, as well as a host of protected species. The awe-inspiring landscapes become increasingly visible as you approach Rifugio Sapienza.

Continue to Crateri Silvestri, volcanic cones that date back to 1888. While these cones are now dormant, they are surrounded by more recent lava flows. The panoramic view from this vantage point encompasses a multitude of volcanic cones and craters, extending all the way to the Aeolian Islands and Calabria, presenting an utterly unique spectacle.

Later, visit a beekeeping farm to witness the honey extraction process and savor homemade honey alongside other typical local products.

Proceed to Taormina, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, marine wonders, historical landmarks, and an unforgettable view of the sea and Mount Etna. Explore the captivating Greco-Roman theatre, which offers a sweeping view of Naxos Bay.

DAY 8: CATANIA > VALLETTA

After breakfast, enjoy leisure time in the historic city center of Catania. Depending on the flight time, you will be provided a private transfer to the airport for your direct flight to Malta. Upon arrival in Malta, the tour will proceed without a tour leader. You will be transferred privately to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure with dinner on your own. Rest well for the night. Meals: B

DAY 9: COTTONERA > MARSAXLOKK > BLUE CAVE > DINGLI

Today’s activity includes a full-day exploration with a private driver and guide, unveiling the captivating beauty of the island. Your journey will lead you to the renowned Three Cities: the fortified trio of Senglea, Vittoriosa, and Cospicua. You’ll venture to the enchanting fishing village of Marsaxlokk, adorned with the traditional and vibrant fishing boats known as “luzzi”. Here, you’ll meander through the charming streets of the downtown area and peruse the stalls of the renowned local market.

Following this, you’ll proceed to the town of Wied iz-Zurrieq, followed by an exhilarating sea excursion to the renowned Blue Cave. This natural marvel boasts a breathtaking and picturesque cavern, where the vibrant hues of the underwater flora cast a fluorescent reflection. The tour will then smoothly transition via private vehicle through the serene Maltese countryside.

As an alternative option, a boat tour to Comino, the Blue Lagoon, and the Malta Caves is available. Following breakfast at the hotel, a private driver will accompany you to the town of Bugibba. Here, you’ll embark on a comfortable boat for a delightful mini-cruise along the northern coast of Malta, heading towards the picturesque island of Comino.

A stop at the renowned Blue Lagoon is a highlight, providing an hour of opportunities for photos, sunbathing, and a refreshing dip in the inviting turquoise waters of the bay. Alternatively, you can choose to relax in the boat’s well-appointed bar area, stocked with drinks and snacks. DAY 10: VALLETTA > MDINA

The day’s itinerary features a series of captivating landmarks on the island. Commencing with the magnificent Casa Rocca Piccola, an ancient 16th-century palace, you’ll be transported back in time. Next, a visit to St. John’s Cathedral awaits, showcasing the awe-inspiring “Beheading of St. John the Baptist,” a masterpiece crafted by Caravaggio. The journey continues to Barraca Gardens, where a vantage point offers a breathtaking view of Valletta’s picturesque harbor. Concluding the day’s explorations is the Grand Master’s Palace, presently serving as the seat of the Maltese Parliament.

Departing from Valletta, your next destination is Malta’s historic capital: Mdina, affectionately known as the silent city. Here, you’ll amble along its charming narrow streets, eventually arriving at a belvedere that provides a splendid panoramic view. Following the visit, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
