Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before discovering the beauties of Madrid with a guided city tour. Explore the historic Barrio de la Morería, the Hapsburgs District, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa. Learn about the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban planning of Charles III, visiting landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains, and the Puerta de Alcalá.
You’ll also experience contemporary Madrid, with highlights including the Gran Vía, the Castellana, the Salamanca district, and the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. During the visit, you’ll have the chance to savor the typical chocolate with churros, a beloved Madrid snack.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we head towards Portugal, driving first to Salamanca. Take some free time to explore this historic university city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich architectural and artistic heritage. We then continue our journey to the Portuguese border, arriving in Porto, a city located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal. Porto, one of Europe’s oldest cities, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Meals: B

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Porto. Explore key landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Santa Clara Church. After breakfast, we depart for Aveiro, a charming city known for its picturesque canals, often referred to as the “Venice of Portugal.” Enjoy a ride on a moliceiro, a traditional, colorful boat used to navigate the canals of Aveiro. We then continue to Coimbra, where we’ll meet a local guide for a tour of this historic city, renowned for its prestigious university—one of the oldest in Europe—its charming medieval streets, and its beautiful riverfront. After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its Gothic and Manueline architecture. After breakfast, embark on a morning city tour of ancient Olissipo. In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time to explore the nostalgic corners of the Alfama Quarter, the city’s oldest district, nestled beneath the castle.
