  • While Iceland offers excellent opportunities to view the Northern Lights, the Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon and its appearance cannot be guaranteed
  • From price is CAD per person, based on double occupancy, and for travel in low season
  • The final price will vary and is also based on the month of travel

  • On all of the tours, each passenger is permitted one suitcase weighing up to 20 kg, plus one carry-on bag weighing up to 10 kg. Passengers who exceed this allowance may be denied access to the tour or may be required to cover additional costs for transporting excess luggage

Itinerary

DAY 1: WELCOME TO ICELAND

Arrive in Reykjavík, Iceland’s vibrant capital and the world’s northernmost capital city. Enjoy free time to explore its charming streets, cafés, and landmarks, with optional airport shuttle or private transfers available for a seamless start to your Northern Lights winter adventure.

Flybus Airport Transfer or Private Airport Transfer (Optional):

The Flybus is a convenient and reliable shuttle service connecting Keflavík International Airport with Reykjavík city centre in approximately one hour. Departures are coordinated with arriving flights, so there is no fixed schedule.

Upon arrival, locate the clearly marked Flybus stop outside the terminal and present the provided QR code voucher. The driver will direct you to the appropriate connecting shuttle at Reykjavík’s main bus terminal (BSÍ). From there, a smaller shuttle bus, also included in your ticket, will take you to a stop just a short walk from your hotel.

For a more comfortable and exclusive arrival experience, private airport transfers can also be arranged upon request.

Optional Activities in Reykjavik:

WHALE WATCHING (Approx. 3 Hours)
Depart from Reykjavik Harbour at approximately 1:00 p.m. and enjoy the opportunity to spot whales, porpoises, and Iceland’s rich birdlife. The excursion takes place aboard a comfortable whale-watching vessel with indoor and outdoor viewing areas. Whale sightings cannot be guaranteed. Transfers to and from the ship are included.

CRUISE IN SEARCH OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS (Approx. 2–3 Hours)
Set sail from Reykjavik at approximately 9:00 p.m. in search of the spectacular Northern Lights. Warm, waterproof clothing is recommended. Weather conditions may affect the operation of this excursion. Transfers to and from the ship are included.

BY BUS IN SEARCH OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS (Approx. 4 Hours)
Travel outside Reykjavik with a local guide in search of the Aurora Borealis. Hotel pickup is included, and warm, waterproof clothing is recommended. The excursion is weather-dependent and may be cancelled if viewing conditions are unfavourable.

BLUE LAGOON – TRANSFER & ENTRANCE INCLUDED
(Day 1 or Day 6, depending on flight times – Tour guide not included). Relax in Iceland’s world-famous geothermal spa, surrounded by dramatic lava landscapes. Enjoy the soothing mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon with round-trip transfers and standard admission included.

DAY 2: GOLDEN CIRCLE WONDERS & SECRET LAGOON ESCAPE

Discover Iceland’s iconic Golden Circle as you visit the powerful Gullfoss Waterfall, the erupting Strokkur Geyser, and historic Thingvellir National Park. Learn about the Aurora Borealis at the Northern Lights Center before unwinding in the soothing geothermal waters of the Secret Lagoon, ending the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Selfoss. DAY 3: SOUTH COAST ADVENTURE & NORTHERN LIGHTS EXPERIENCE

Continue to Kirkjubæjarklaustur, one of Iceland’s premier regions for Northern Lights viewing. After dinner, step outside your hotel for an opportunity to witness the magical Aurora Borealis dancing across the Arctic sky, while learning more about this remarkable natural phenomenon from your guide. DAY 4: SKAFTAFELL NATIONAL PARK & JÖKULSÁRLÓN GLACIER LAGOON

Discover the breathtaking beauty of Skaftafell National Park, home to dramatic landscapes and the impressive Skaftafellsjökull Glacier. Continue to the iconic Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where dazzling icebergs float across crystal-clear waters. This evening, enjoy another opportunity to search for the Northern Lights from your hotel, accompanied by your knowledgeable tour guide. Meals: B, D

DAY 5: HVERAGERÐI, SCENIC ICELAND & REYKJAVIK

Travel back to Reykjavík with scenic stops along the way, including the geothermal town of Hveragerði, renowned for its bubbling hot springs and volcanic activity. Visit the picturesque Strandarkirkja, known locally as the “Miracle Church,” before enjoying free time to explore Reykjavík at your own pace. For added relaxation, an optional visit to the famous Blue Lagoon can be arranged. Meals: B

DAY 6: FAREWELL TO ICELAND
