DAY 1: ROME > NAPLES > POMPEII > SORRENTO
In the early morning, departure by coach heading south crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania (pick-up begins at 6:30 am from centrally located hotels). Arrive in Naples and enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. Afterward, you will leave Naples and travel south towards Mount Vesuvius and the town of Pompeii.
Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional Neapolitan pizza lunch. After lunch, you will enter one of the most important archaeological sites in the world for a guided tour. The ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii.
After the visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento for dinner (in Sorrento, we highly recommend for men wear long trousers during dinner). Meals: L, D

DAY 2: SORRENTO AT YOUR OWN PACE

DAY 3: SORRENTO > CAPRI
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting excursion to the island of Capri. One of the most exclusive summer destinations in the Mediterranean! Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you will admire the dreamy Blue Grotto on a small boat. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then roam the island at your own pace. In the afternoon, check in to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. Meals: B, L

DAY 4: CAPRI AT YOUR OWN PACE
Today you will have plenty of time after your hotel breakfast to explore the beauty of Capri, sometimes called the “Garden of Eden,” at your own pace. Discover the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful, sunny island, or take a swim in the Gulf of Naples.
If you’d rather take a day trip, you can book an excursion to nearby Anacapri, including the I Faraglioni, three impressive rock structures, or the famous Villa Jovis, a residence built for the emperor Tiberius in the First Century BC. Return to your hotel for one last evening in Capri. Meals: B

DAY 5: CAPRI > SORRENTO > POSITANO
After breakfast, depart to Sorrento by ferry, once on the mainland, you will board a coach for Positano, driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road in the Campania region. In Positano, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Meals: B

DAY 6: POSITANO AT YOUR OWN PACE
See all that Positano has to offer as you set off to explore the ancient fishermen’s village on your own. Known for its cubic Empire houses perched upon cliffs looking over turquoise water, Positano is the most well-known summer resort area on the whole peninsula.
Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces, and gardens overlooking the bay. Be sure to buy one of the straw handbags or handmade sandals for which Positano is famous. Return to your hotel for the evening. Meals: B

DAY 7: POSITANO > NAPLES
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, and at the designated time, depart for Naples, the third-largest city in Italy. Situated along a lovely bay, Naples is known for its islands, the neighborhood of Posillipo, and Mount Vesuvius. Check in to your new hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Meals: B

DAY 8: NAPLES
After breakfast, enjoy a 2 hours panoramic tour led by a professional guide, discovering the most important monuments of the lively city of Naples. The first two stops will be at the Cathedral to visit its Treasure Chapel and at St. Restituta Basilica. Drive to the town Hall square where the New Castle was built by the French family of the Anjou and continue your tour to Posillipo.
Stop at the St. Antonio church terrace to get the best view of the city and the bay. The tour continues to Plebiscite square where you will admire the Royal Palace (outside), the beautiful church of St. Francesco di Paola in its neoclassic style, the famous Umberto I Gallery, and finally the San Carlo theatre. The tour will end in the city center. Rest of the day at your leisure to continue to discover Naples on your own. Meals: B
