DAY 1: ROME ARRIVAL
Benvenuti a Roma! Upon arriving at the airport or train station, you’ll meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to enjoy your first day in the Eternal City. You can choose a private transfer to your hotel for added comfort and convenience.

DAY 2: ROME SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a leisurely day exploring the wonders of Rome at your own pace. The day includes a City Tour Hop-On Hop-Off for 24 hours, covering all the main sights of the Eternal City with 8 convenient stops.

Vatican Tour
Delve into the heart of Christianity with a guided tour of the Vatican. Marvel at the grandeur of St. Peter’s Square, designed by Bernini, and explore the awe-inspiring Vatican Museums, home to countless masterpieces. Stand in the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, where you can admire Michelangelo’s iconic frescoes, including “The Last Judgment.” Please note that this tour is not available on Sundays.
Ancient Rome Tour with Colosseum
Step back in time as you discover the ancient wonders of Rome on this guided tour. Begin at the iconic Colosseum, where gladiators once fought, and learn about its fascinating history. Continue to the Roman Forum, the heart of ancient Roman public life, where temples and markets once thrived. Explore Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome, for stunning views of the city and insights into the lives of ancient emperors.

DAY 3: ROME TO BARI
After breakfast at your hotel, head independently to Rome train station at the indicated time to catch your train to Bari (approximately a 4-hour journey). Upon arrival in Bari, make your way to your hotel and check in. Optional private transfers from the train station are available upon request. Meals: B

DAY 4: PRIVATE GUIDED WALKING TOUR OF BARI
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide to begin a wonderful walking tour. Bari is home to the Basilica of San Nicola, a significant example of Apulian Romanesque architecture. This church is recognized as one of the most important places of worship in the world, where Catholic and Orthodox traditions beautifully blend.
As you explore Bari Vecchia, you’ll find a charming atmosphere where time seems to stand still. Women sit outside their homes, preparing the typical orecchiette (local pasta), while children play in the streets, laundry hangs in the sun, and the warm hospitality of Bari’s inhabitants shines through.
And what about the focaccia barese? The aroma is hard to resist! Don’t worry—you will get to taste it! The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Meals: B

DAY 5: BARI TO LECCE
After breakfast at your hotel, head independently to Bari train station at the indicated time to catch your train to Lecce (approximately a 1.5-hour journey). Upon arrival in Lecce, make your way to your hotel and check-in. Optional private transfers from the train station are available upon request. Meals: B

DAY 6: PRIVATE GUIDED WALKING TOUR OF LECCE
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide at Porta San Biagio to start a panoramic walking tour through the streets of this beautiful city, where you’ll admire Apulian Baroque art while discovering churches and monuments. Elegant and refined, Lecce is one of the most cherished artistic cities in Southern Italy. Here, the Baroque style predominates and takes on a local connotation known as “Leccese Baroque.” This style is characterized by exquisite stonework in Lecce stone rather than lavish gold decorations. The façades of churches and historic buildings appear as if crafted by skillful hands.
As you stroll through the old town, you’ll come across charming craft shops, from papier-mâché artisans to local pastry makers. You’ll have the opportunity to taste a delicious local specialty at one of these bakeries: the “pasticciotto,” a pastry filled with custard cream. DAY 7: LECCE DEPARTURE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Brindisi Airport or Lecce train station. Meals: B
