DAY 1: WELCOME TO FLORENCE
Welcome to Florence! Upon arrival at the airport or train station make your way to your hotel in Florence. An optional private transfer is available. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the artistic city on your own.

DAY 2: FLORENCE HIGHLIGHTS WITH ACCADEMIA GALLERY
Start your exploration of Florence from the unknown and most picturesque sides of the city. Visit the market of San Lorenzo, where it’s possible to see the food arriving from the Tuscan countryside. In the afternoon, meet your guide at the hotel and get ready to explore the heart of the town. We’ll visit Piazza della Signoria, walk by the Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo with Giotto's bell tower (exterior), and Ponte Vecchio. Our walkthrough of Florence will end with a visit to the Accademia to admire, among the many masterpieces, the jewel of Michelangelo, the statue of David. Meals: B

DAY 3: SIENA & SAN GIMIGNANO WITH DINNER IN A WINERY
Enjoy the morning exploring Florence on your own.
In the early afternoon, enjoy a visit to two of Tuscany's most beautiful towns and sample local flavors with a typical Tuscan dinner and wine tasting. Leaving Florence in the afternoon, enjoy the drive to Siena, the first stop on the tour. Enjoy a guided tour of its UNESCO-listed historic center, which includes the unique shell-shaped square where the legendary Palio race takes place twice a year.
Next, reach San Gimignano, the stunning medieval town with an impressive skyline crowned by 14 towers that have survived through the centuries. Get some time to explore its atmospheric cobbled lanes, then take the road to the hills of Chianti and admire the beautiful colors of Tuscany at sunset. Dinner will take place at a charming wine estate, where you’ll visit the cellars and dine on traditional Tuscan dishes paired with their fine wines. Meals: B, D

DAY 4: FLORENCE COOKING CLASS
Today meet your local chef who’ll guide you in this experience and head to the city’s lively central food market, where you’ll pick the ingredients to prepare your meal. Take a quick stroll to the kitchen facilities in the heart of Florence and sample some local delicacies before you start cooking. Next, put your apron on and learn how to cook bruschetta, homemade pasta with a tasty sauce, and a traditional Tuscan dessert under the watchful eye of the chef, who will share stories about Tuscan food and culture along the way. Then, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your culinary efforts accompanied by some great Chianti wine. At the end of the experience, you’ll receive a certificate and a recipe booklet to replicate the dishes at home. Meals: B, L

DAY 5: FLORENCE TO MONTEPULCIANO
Pick up from your hotel and your driver will take you on a scenic drive through the heart of Tuscany to visit beautiful villages where history, art, and a great wine tradition. The itinerary includes stops at Montalcino, a walled medieval town famous for the production of the renowned Brunello, and Montepulciano, the Renaissance jewel home to one of Italy’s most ancient wines, the Vino Nobile, and Pienza, a lovely town in the heart of Val d’Orcia known as the ideal city because it is one of the first examples of humanistic ideal urban planning. Included in the tour is a visit to a local winery to sample some of the region’s best wines and a delicious lunch to taste Tuscan specialties. Overnight in Montepulciano. Meals: B, L

DAY 6: MONTEPULCIANO
After a long week in Tuscany, your Estate is the perfect spot to relax and recover energy. You can read your favorite book in the gorgeous garden, walk along the shady roads around your villa, enjoy horse riding or visit the town of Cortona, just 10 minutes away. Among the many activities available, we suggest having a cooking class with the resident chef. You can enjoy a class in a beautiful kitchen located in an evocative setting, where thanks to an experienced chef you will learn all the secrets of traditional recipes. Overnight in Montepulciano.
