DAY 1: WELCOME TO SICILY

In the afternoon, gather with your group and tour leader. Following an informative introductory briefing, travel to Taormina. Here, partake in a guided walking tour of one of Sicily's most renowned tourist destinations. Take in the breathtaking natural terrace that overlooks the sea, with the majestic Mount Etna in the background. Explore the Greek-Roman Theater and soak in the rich history.

DAY 2: MOUNT ETNA
Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore Mt. Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and the most active volcano in Europe. After enjoying breakfast, take a leisurely stroll along the beach to reach Letojanni train station. From there, you'll make your way to the village of Giarre, where you'll board the Circumetnea train. This historic railway, inaugurated in 1898, encircles the volcano and passes through numerous villages, providing travelers with picturesque views of this extraordinary landscape.
The excursion continues by bus, taking you to the craters of Silvestri. Here, you'll have the chance to indulge in a delightful food and wine-tasting experience at a local winery. For those seeking an even higher vantage point, there will be an option to continue the journey by jeep.

DAY 3: SIRACUSA & ORTIGIA
Today, you'll have the opportunity to take in the stunning coastal views as you travel by train from Taormina to Syracuse, which is renowned as one of the most captivating sites on the island. An expert guide will accompany you as you explore the Archaeological Park, famous for its Roman amphitheater, the Greek theater, and the fascinating Ear of Dionysus.
Following your visit to the park, venture to the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city. This area is known for its narrow alleys, picturesque sea vistas, and a charming square that is home to a splendid cathedral.

DAY 4: SICILIAN BAROQUE
Today, embark on a full-day excursion to uncover the lesser-known treasures of Sicily. Begin your exploration in the historic center of Ragusa, known as "Ibla." This aristocratic city in Val di Noto is distinguished by its numerous baroque churches, palaces, and iconic domes that grace the cityscape.
Continue your journey to Modica, a UNESCO World Heritage city celebrated for its delectable chocolate and splendid architecture. Finally, visit Noto, the epicenter of the Sicilian Baroque. Pass through the renowned Arco and wander through the city center, taking in the magnificent aristocratic palaces with their intricately adorned balconies, lavish churches adorned with intricate decorations, the cathedral with its grand staircase, and the city theater – all splendid examples of the Baroque style.

DAY 5: AGRIGENTO
Following breakfast, set out by bus for Agrigento. Upon arrival, savor a delightful lunch with a view of the Temple Valley. Next, proceed to the Cathedral. Following some free time for lunch, hop on a local bus to reach Monreale, a charming town nestled on the slopes of Monte Caputo, offering stunning views of Palermo.
