Itinerary

DAY 1: WELCOME TO LISBON

Begin your Portugal small group tour with arrival in Lisbon, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in from 3:00 p.m., enjoy free time to relax or start exploring Portugal’s vibrant capital at your own pace.

DAY 2: LISBON, SINTRA & ATLANTIC COAST

Depart Lisbon at 9:00 a.m. for a scenic full-day journey through some of Portugal’s most iconic destinations. Begin with a brief panoramic tour of the city, then head to historic Belém, home to landmarks such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower, and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. Enjoy a tasting of the famous Pastel de Belém, a traditional pastry dating back to 1837.

Continue along the scenic Atlantic coast through Estoril to the charming seaside town of Cascais, where you will have free time for lunch and a stroll through the historic center. Stop at the dramatic cliffs of Boca do Inferno, then travel to Cabo da Roca, offering spectacular ocean views. The day continues to the romantic town of Sintra, where you will have free time to explore its charming streets before returning to Lisbon for an overnight stay. Meals: B

DAY 3: FREE DAY IN LISBON

Today, enjoy the day exploring Lisbon at your own leisure. Discover the city at your own pace, wander through its historic neighborhoods, visit local cafés, or admire the scenic viewpoints overlooking the Tagus River. You may also choose to join one of the optional experiences available.

DAY 4: ÓBIDOS, NAZARÉ & FÁTIMA

Depart Lisbon at 9:00 a.m. for a scenic journey through Portugal’s historic countryside. The first stop is the charming medieval town of Óbidos, known for its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses decorated with colorful flowers. Enjoy time to explore and taste the traditional Ginjinha, often served in a chocolate cup.

Continue to the authentic seaside village of Nazaré, renowned worldwide for its spectacular Atlantic waves and fishing traditions. Enjoy free time for lunch and a stroll through the historic center and waterfront.

Next, travel to Alcobaça, known as the city of eternal love. Visit the impressive Monastery of Alcobaça, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will see the tombs of Pedro I of Portugal and Inês de Castro. Here you will also enjoy a tasting of traditional convent sweets, whose recipes originate from the Cistercian monks who once lived in the monastery.

Continue to Fátima, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage destinations. Arrival, hotel check-in, and free time to explore.

Important: Between April and October, there is the opportunity to participate in the beautiful evening candlelight procession at the Sanctuary of Fátima. Meals: B

DAY 5: FÁTIMA, COIMBRA & PORTO

Depart from Fátima in the morning. and stop in the nearby village of Aljustrel, where the three shepherd children lived, including a visit to the home of Sister Lúcia. Continue to Coimbra, where you will visit the renowned University of Coimbra and the magnificent Joanina Library, both part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy free time for lunch and a stroll through Coimbra’s historic center.

Later, transfer to the train station and travel by train to Porto (Campanhã Station). Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation and free time.

Important: Passengers are responsible for transporting their luggage between Coimbra and Porto, as luggage assistance is not available on this route. The driver will meet you at the main exit of Porto Campanhã Station holding a sign with your name. Meals: B

DAY 6: FREE DAY IN PORTO

Today, enjoy the day exploring Porto at your own leisure. You may also choose to join one of the optional experiences available.

• Porto Highlights with Wine Tasting & Six Bridges Cruise (5 hours)
Discover the main highlights of Porto, including its historic center and the charming Ribeira. The experience continues with the famous Six Bridges Cruise along the Douro River, offering beautiful views of the city and its iconic bridges.
