DAY 1, DUBROVNIK ARRIVAL
You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport to the port, where embarkation begins at 2 pm. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner. Meals: WR, D

DAY 2: DUBROVNIK > ELAPHITI ISLANDS > SLANO
Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. Walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik and visit the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. After returning to the ship enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik's city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop.
Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village and our starting point to Ston, situated on the Peljesac peninsula and once fortified small village famous for its oysters. Peljesac peninsula is known as one of the best wine-producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town, we leave for a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local oyster tasting. DAY 3: SLANO > MLJET NATIONAL PARK > KORCULA
In the morning we head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue our cruise towards the Korčula island, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korcula, you can enjoy a gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars. Meals: B, L

DAY 4: KORCULA > BISEVO > VIS
Early in the morning, we sail to the small island of Bisevo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility of our visit will depend on weather conditions, however, you will be notified of this on time. Cruise towards the island of Vis once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Taste some exquisite wine sorts in one of the Vis traditional wineries. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman Thermal Place, and City Museum or simply take a walk to enjoy the views. Overnight in the port of Vis. Meals: B, L

DAY 5: VIS > HVAR > STARI GRAD
In the morning head further towards Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, with a swim stop and lunch on board. Afternoon arrival in Hvar town followed by a tour of the town - visit the many historical sights of the town, such as St Stephen’s Square, the largest piazza in Dalmatia and the main town square, see St Stephen’s Cathedral, the first public theatre in Europe, renaissance-style loggia and its clock tower, the Franciscan monastery. Above Hvar Town is the impressive fortress Fortica/ Spanjola offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. After the tour set sail towards Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, one of the oldest cities in Europe. Overnight in Stari Grad. Meals: B, L

DAY 6: STARI GRAD > TROGIR (KRKA NATIONAL PARK)
Early morning departure to the old Dalmatian town Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as a “miniature Venice” or a “mini-Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. Afterward, you will discover the beauty of the Krka National Park and the small access port of Skradin where the flora and fauna are exceptional. Overnight in Trogir. Meals: B, L

DAY 7: TROGIR > SPLIT
In the morning join a tour of Trogir with a local tour guide. Set sail to Split with a stop along the way to swim and relax, if weather permits, with lunch on board. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Split to spend the night. Arriving in Split, join a guided tour of the city, and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free in Split. Meals: B, L

DAY: 8: SPLIT > PLITVICE > OPATIJA
After breakfast, it’s time to disembark and bid our crew farewell. We journey north by motorcoach for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Plitvice, we walk around several of the lower lakes. The Park is a natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After our visit, we drive on to Opatija where dinner is served at the hotel. Meals: B, D

DAY 9: OPATIJA > POSTOJNA > VENICE
After breakfast, we travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe. We tour this wondrous subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, we drive to Venice. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure until you gather for a Welcome Dinner with your Tour Director and traveling companions. DAY 10: VENICE SIGHTSEEING
We begin exploring Venice with a boat ride to Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Visit a glassblowing factory, where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. Then, on to St. Mark’s Square, for the walking tour, visiting St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and enjoying views of the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop, or join an optional gondola ride. Meals: B

DAY 11: VENICE TO FLORENCE VIA FERRARA & PISA
Drive to Ferrara, a Renaissance gem in the Emilia-Romagna region, standing on the banks of the Po River. After an orientation tour, continue to Pisa where you’ll view the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, Baptistery, and Duomo. Then on to Florence for dinner and a free evening. Meals: B, D

DAY 12: FLORENCE SIGHTSEEING
This morning begins with a city tour of the majestic Piazza del Duomo to see the Cathedral crowned by Brunelleschi’s awe-inspiring Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with Ghiberti’s splendid bronze “Gates of Paradise.” Then, visit the Accademia Gallery, where Michelangelo’s David is displayed. The tour ends at the Piazzale Michelangelo with a spectacular view over Florence. The remainder of the day is yours to savor the Renaissance splendor of the Tuscan capital your own way. Meals: B

DAY 13: FLORENCE TO ROMA VIA ASSISI
Travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany with its iconic landscapes as you make your way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis. Take a walking tour to see the main square and visit the impressive Basilica of St. Francis. Continue to Rome for dinner and an evening at leisure. Meals: B, D

DAY 14: ROME IN A DAY (VATICAN & ANCIENT ROME)
A full-day sightseeing tour shows you all the highlights of the incomparable Eternal City. Visit the Vatican Museums with the moving Sistine Chapel and grand St. Peter’s Basilica. Then on to visit the Coliseum, ancient Palatine Hill overlooking Circus Maximus and the Imperial Palace, and the Roman Forum. Meals: B, L

DAY 15: ROME AT LEISURE
Your day is free in spectacular Rome! Your Tour Director will have suggestions on how to spend your time. You might want to visit some of the chic shops, galleries, and museums; do some more sightseeing on your own, or relax in a sidewalk cafe with a glass of fine Italian wine, a cold Limoncello, some refreshing gelato, or a hearty dish of pasta. Tonight, a festive farewell dinner with your fellow travelers is the perfect way to celebrate your glimpse of Italy. Meals: B, D

DAY 16: ROME DEPARTURE
