DAY 1: ROME > MARMORE FALLS > SPOLETO > ASSISI
This morning from Rome transfer to Tivoli, a beautiful village in the surroundings of Rome, famous for its villas a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the old town to admire medieval buildings, ancient Roman ruins, and the amazing view of the River Aniene.
In the afternoon, transfer to Spoleto, with a shortstop in Marmore to discover the most beautiful Italian falls in the heart of Umbria. Continue to Spoleto, an ancient town located in the Umbria region with many remnants from its Roman and medieval pasts. Afterward, arrive in Assisi and overnight.

DAY 2: ASSISI > PERUGIA > TODI > ASSISI
After breakfast, you will be invited to taste some local products made with the flavourful Umbria black truffle. Enjoy a walk in the old town of Assisi with a visit to the Basilica of Saint Francis. Then, departure to Perugia, the capital of the Umbrian region. The city is rich in history and art, with both Etruscan and Roman heritage.
In the afternoon, continue for Todi, a small elegant hilltop town that dominates the Tiber valley. Visit the historical center dotted with architecture and medieval buildings before returning to Assisi and overnight. Meals: B

DAY 3: ASSISI > LAKE TRASIMENO > GUBBIO > ASSISI
After breakfast, departure for Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake in central Italy. Arrive at Passignano through a beautiful panoramic route of the border between the regions Umbria and Tuscany. Aboard the ferry, arrival to the Isola Maggiore, a little island where only 17 people live. Visit the picturesque set of houses through nice paths and lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, back to Passignano. Departure to Gubbio, a beautiful city that is located 500 meters above sea level and shows traces from the Roman era.
