DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME
Upon arrival make your way to your hotel in Rome city center. Take your time to settle and relax, then in the afternoon meet your Tour Leader and group and go for a guided stroll throughout the alleys of Baroque Rome. You will admire the most representative sites such as the magical Piazza Navona and the famous Pantheon. You will even have the possibility to make a wish, throwing a coin into the legendary Fontana di Trevi. Take pleasure in a typical welcome dinner and take your time to get to know the group and your tour leader. Meals: D

DAY 2: ROME
This morning take advantage of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus to get a panoramic tour of the Eternal city. Afterward, enjoy a tour that will take you back to the Roman Empire. Walk through the Roman Forum and visit the Colosseum with a skip-the-line entrance to marvel at the ancient Roman icon. Meals: B

DAY 3: ROME TO MAREMMA AND VAL D'ORCIA
In the morning, depart with your group and board a train to Grosseto, gate for the Maremma area: experience the wild side of Tuscany at the Parco dell’Uccellina and have a typical lunch made with locally sourced produce.
After lunch, get deep into the heart of classical Tuscany reaching by local train Buonconvento, a small fortified medieval village considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, where you will relax by sipping an excellent glass of wine. Then, a private transfer to your hotel where your luggage will be waiting for you. Meals: B, L

DAY 4: VAL D'ORCIA
Enjoy a full day discovering the iconic landscape in southern Tuscany and its sinuous hills covered with expanses of wheat and vineyards. Medieval castles, ancient villages, charming rural houses, rows, and rows of endless vineyards or cypresses, and golden fields whose grain seems to sway are just some of the characteristics of this fantastic area in Tuscany. Explore the medieval villages of San Quirico d’Orcia and Montalcino, famous for their Brunello wine, and the abbey of Sant’Antimo. Meals: B

DAY 5: SIENA & FLORENCE
After breakfast, a private transfer to Siena, famous for the Palio horse race, an annual tradition dating centuries. Follow your history expert local guide across the medieval town, and see Piazza del Campo, with its magnificent Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, then Piazza del Duomo and its imposing Cathedral, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture.
Time at leisure to explore the city center and buy locally made souvenirs. In the afternoon, take a local train to Florence without worrying about your luggage, it will be already delivered to your hotel. Meals: B

DAY 6: FLORENCE
After breakfast, meet your local history expert guide and start a guided tour on foot throughout the Florentine streets, admiring the beauty of the Uffizi building with the Vasari Corridor, and the monumental group of the Duomo, including the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the baptistry and the Giotto’s belltower famous for its bronze Gate of Paradise. DAY 7: FLORENCE TO VENICE
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Florence. Aboard the train, sweet and sour snacks will be served, as well as hot or cold drinks of your choice. After about two hours you will arrive in Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, enjoy a guided walking tour. Your guide will take you through narrow alleys, canals, and small bridges to discover the main highlights of the city. Return to your hotel on Murano Island by boat. Meals: B

DAY 8: GLASS BLOWING & VENICE AT LEISURE
After breakfast follows your tour leader who will let you discover the ancient and precious glass-blowing art in a traditional furnace. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to take advantage of your Vaporetto Pass to discover the floating City and its lagoon-like local.
