DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME
Upon arrival, meet your driver for a transfer to your hotel in Rome’s city center. Relax and begin exploring the city at your leisure before meeting your tour leader and fellow travelers in the afternoon.

DAY 2: ROME
This morning, join a guided stroll through the charming alleys of Baroque Rome, where you’ll admire iconic landmarks such as the enchanting Piazza Navona and the famous Pantheon (from the outside). You'll also have the chance to make a wish by tossing a coin into the legendary Trevi Fountain. For the rest of the day, take advantage of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus to continue exploring the “Eternal City” with a panoramic tour at your own pace. Meals: B

DAY 3: ROME
Today, an exciting visit to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum is scheduled. Begin by exploring the grandeur of the Colosseum, an iconic symbol of ancient Rome where gladiators once battled. Ascend Palatine Hill for stunning views and to uncover the origins of Rome. Then, wander through the Roman Forum, the heart of ancient Roman public life, where historic ruins and monuments offer a glimpse into the city’s rich past. Meals: B

DAY 4: ROME TO SICILY
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Rome Airport for your flight to Catania. Arrive in Sicily after a 1.5-hour flight, and upon arrival, meet your driver for a transfer to your hotel in Letojanni. Check-in and take some time to settle in. In the afternoon, meet your group and tour leader for an introductory briefing. Then, head to Taormina for a guided walking tour of this popular Sicilian destination. Admire the natural terrace overlooking the sea, with views of the majestic Mount Etna, and visit the Greek-Roman Theater. Return to your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner. Meals: B, D

DAY 5: MOUNT ETNA
Today, explore Mount Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and Europe’s most active volcano. After breakfast, stroll along the beach to the Letojanni train station and board a train to the village of Giarre. From there, take the Circumetnea train, a historic railway inaugurated in 1898, which circles the volcano and offers picturesque views of the surrounding villages. The excursion continues by bus to the Silvestri Craters (approximately 1,900 meters). Enjoy food and wine tasting at a local winery, with the option to reach higher peaks by jeep. Return to your hotel in Letojanni. Meals: B

DAY 6: SIRACUSA & ORTIGIA
Today, enjoy breathtaking coastal and sea views from your train window as you travel from Taormina to Syracuse, one of Sicily's most fascinating sites. A guide will lead you through the Archaeological Park, renowned for its Roman amphitheater, Greek theater, and the Ear of Dionysius. Continue your exploration on the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city, with its narrow alleys, scenic sea views, and the beautiful square featuring a splendid cathedral. In the afternoon, continue your journey by bus to your next destination, Ragusa. Meals: B

DAY 7: SICILIAN BAROQUE
Spend the day exploring the lesser-known yet captivating part of Sicily, renowned for its sumptuous Baroque architecture and numerous UNESCO sites. Begin your visit in the historic center of Ragusa Ibla, the aristocratic heart of Val di Noto, known for its impressive Baroque churches, palaces, and distinctive domes. Continue to Modica, another UNESCO World Heritage site, celebrated for its chocolate and stunning architecture. Your final stop will be Noto, the capital of the late Sicilian Baroque. Walk through the city, admiring the famous Arco, the elegant aristocratic palaces with their decorated balconies, the richly adorned churches, the grand cathedral with its staircase, and the city theater, all masterpieces of Baroque style. Return to your hotel in Ragusa for the evening. Meals: B

DAY 8: AGRIGENTO
After breakfast, depart by bus for Agrigento. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch with a view of the Valley of the Temples. Meet your guide who will unveil the secrets of this remarkable archaeological site, including the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concord (one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the Greek world), the Temple of Hercules, and the Temple of Castor and Pollux. After the visit, return for lunch together before heading to Agrigento Centrale Train Station. Embark on a scenic train journey through the Sicilian countryside to Palermo. DAY 9: PALERMO & MONREALE
Spend the full day discovering Palermo. In the morning, begin with a walking tour of the city center, starting at Teatro Massimo. Stroll through the vibrant “u Capo” local market, where you can sample Sicilian specialties such as Arancini or enjoy a refreshing "AUTISTA," a unique lemonade. Continue to the Cathedral and walk to “I Quattro Canti.” After some free time for lunch, take a local bus to Monreale, a charming town on the slopes of Monte Caputo, overlooking Palermo. Walk with your guide to Monreale Cathedral, renowned as one of the finest Norman constructions in the world. Meals: B

DAY 10: CEFALÙ
Today, travel with your tour leader by train to Cefalù, a charming medieval fishing village situated on the slopes of a promontory. Cefalù is home to the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Arabic-Norman Cathedral, which resembles a fortress. You’ll have the entire day to relax on the beach, explore the shops, or hike up La Rocca. Return to Palermo by regional train for a farewell dinner, enjoying your last night in Sicily. Meals: B, D
