Itinerary

DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME

Upon arrival make your way to your hotel in Rome's city center. Take your time to settle and relax, then in the afternoon meet your Tour Leader and group and go for a guided stroll throughout the alleys of Baroque Rome. You will admire the most representative sites such as the magical Piazza Navona and the famous Pantheon. You will even have the possibility to make a wish, throwing a coin into the legendary Fontana di Trevi. Take pleasure in a typical welcome dinner and take your time to get to know the group and your tour leader. Meals: D

DAY 2: ROME

This morning take advantage of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus to get a panoramic tour of the Eternal city. Afterward, reach the Vatican Museums with the skip-the-line, and you will have direct access to the Sistine Chapel and to St. Peter’s Basilica. Visit the breathtaking masterpieces that you will find inside, as well as a great variety of galleries, with ancient sculptures, tapestries, middle-age maps, paintings, and stunning relics.

After the tour, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to explore Rome on your own. Do not forget to check out the majestic Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Meals: B

DAY 3: ROME TO SORRENTO VIA POMPEII & NAPLES

In the morning, after breakfast in the hotel, get on the high-speed train to Napoli. After an hour’s journey, you will begin your wonderful day with a tour of the Sorrentine peninsula, stopping to see the extraordinary Pompeii and its magic. Let the dramatic history of the Roman city, destroyed and buried by the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D, touch you. You will walk among the ruins of this mysterious city.

Later you will stop for lunch. Around 4:00 pm you will continue to Sorrento. There, your hotel, facing the sea, and your luggage coming straight from Rome, will be waiting for you. The dinner will be at the hotel and afterward, you can enjoy the rest of the evening at your pleasure. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4: CAPRI DISCOVERY

After breakfast, it is time to discover the island of Capri, a fascinating oasis for artists, writers, and celebrities, famous for Italian fashion brands and local hand-crafted shops. Visit the village of Anacapri, located 1,800 feet above sea level. Here, you can take a chairlift to Monte Solaro, spend your time exploring Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe Gardens, or enjoy lunch in a typical local restaurant (not included).

Later we will go to visit the famous Piazzetta in Capri, where you can admire the amazing views out over the gulf. Walk along the most beautiful street until the August Gardens. Here, you can see the famous Faraglioni, the distinctive rocks. At the end of the trip, you will embark on the hydrofoil and come back to Sorrento. Meals: B, D

DAY 5: AMALFI COAST CRUISE

Today depart for a half-day excursion to the Amalfi Coast. A breathtaking landscape connects the two “pearls” of the Amalfi Coast: Positano, with its beautiful terraces overlooking the sea, and Amalfi, with its combination of colors that create a unique spectacle. Sail along the coast where you will see the ruins of a Roman villa near Bagni Della Regina Giovanna, the Island of Li Galli, Nerano, and Fiordo di Furore. Explore the towns of Amalfi and Positano and take unique pictures! Meals: B, D

DAY 6: SORRENTO AT LEISURE

At the end of the tour, all you need is a relaxing day dedicated to shopping and the discovery of the Sorrentine peninsula. Therefore, we offer you a whole day of distraction where you can dive into the hotel’s swimming pool, sunbathe at the beautiful beaches or stroll the lovely city center of Sorrento. At night enjoy a typical Sorrentine dinner to say farewell to your new friends. Meals: B, D

DAY 7: SORRENTO DEPARTURE

After breakfast, our trip to discover the Italian beauties comes to an end, hoping you always keep this unique experience in your heart. Optional extra nights in Sorrento or a private transfer to Naples railway station or airport is available. Arrivederci! Meals: B
