DAY 1: WELCOME TO PARIS & SEINE RIVER CRUISE

Welcome to Paris! Upon arrival at the airport make your way to your hotel in the heart of Paris. An optional private transfer is available. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the French capital on your own. In the afternoon, make your way to the landing stage near the Tour Eiffel and board your boat to enjoy a memorable cruise on the River Seine. Your ticket is open, so you can choose your preferred time of the day.

DAY 2: HEART OF PARIS & VERSAILLES

Spend an attraction-filled morning exploring the old heart of Paris under the guidance of a local expert. Your Paris walking tour starts in the picturesque lanes of the Île de la Cite and Latin Quarter, where you'll see iconic buildings of the city before reaching the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral. It's still being restored after the fire that hit it but can be admired from close enough to appreciate its beauty.

Today you will explore the magnificent Palace of Versailles with its luxuriant gardens. Your guide will introduce to you the State Apartments with its 8 rooms, the Hall of Mirrors, the King and Queens’ apartments and since July 2006 some new rooms recently renovated, the Royal Chapel and the Royal Opera, then you will explore the Gardens and the Park. DAY 3: LOUVRE MUSEUM

As one of the largest museums in the world, it has over 35,000 objects on display from prehistory to the 19th century, spread across more than 650,000 square feet of gallery space. Your guide will lead you through the galleries of this extraordinary French institution and explain the changing face of the Louvre through its architecture and design. Marvel at the iconic glass pyramid and admire masterpieces from various artists including the famous Mona Lisa. At the end of the small group tour, you will have the possibility to spend more time in the Louvre to visit other sections of the museum independently. Meals: B

DAY 4: TRAIN TO TOURS

Independent transfer to the Paris train station to board your high-speed train to St-Pierre-des-Corps, where you will arrive in about 1 hour. Upon arrival, meet your driver at the train station and continue to your hotel in Tours. Meals:

DAY 5: LOIRE VALLEY CASTLES

The Loire Valley is home to glorious castles, each with unique architectural features and captivating stories. On this tour, you’ll visit two of the most important estates in the region. You’ll start at Chateau Chenonceau, which will intrigue you with its marvelous Renaissance style. After a scenic drive through the French countryside, the tour continues to the Chateau of Chambord, your final stop for the day. This is the region's largest castle and one of the most beautiful, a work of art blending French tradition and Italian Renaissance. Meals: B

DAY 6: LOIRE VALLEY WINE TOUR

Today discover this beautiful wine area full of passion-driven winegrowers. Meet a genuine French winemaker in a charming family-run estate. During this visit, you will improve your knowledge regarding wine-making and of course wine-tasting! After this, your guide will drive you to a grand wine house situated just along the Loire River. Stroll inside its impressive galleries dug in the hills. Discover all the secrets of elaboration of the wines from this ancient historical house, still using traditional methods. You will get to know and understand better the diversity of Loire Valley wines. Your guide will help you to learn the different steps of wine tasting and how to identify many wine aromas. Meals: B
