DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME
Welcome to Rome! After your arrival at the airport, make your way to your hotel (an optional private transfer is available). After check-in, take some time to relax and then perhaps head out to begin your discovery of Rome. We suggest starting to explore the city to familiarize yourself with it and delve into its atmosphere. Walkthrough the famed Roman piazzas and landmarks including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.

DAY 2: ROME FOODIE TOUR
Today head out and explore Rome to the fullest! Prepare to mix and match 2500 years of history and discover your own version of Rome. The Eternal City dazzles with iconic Roman ruins, a wealth of art and architecture, and lively historic squares. We have a lot of ideas and proposals, to explore Rome, just let us know what you want to do and we'll take care of everything. Optional tours include the Vatican or the Roman Forum including the Colosseum.
In the afternoon, discover the Eternal City using your senses, dive into the local gastronomic heritage and taste traditional specialties during a wondrous foodie quest through two of the most charming districts of Rome. Start with the famous Espresso e Cornetto in Rome and learn the Italian tradition behind il caffè, (brown gold). Stroll through the streets of the historic Trastevere district, and Campo de Fiori, and let your guide lead you to the ancient fornai (bakeries) and botteghe (local delis), browse through the shops, and lose yourself among aromas and sensational flavors. DAY 3: ROME TO FLORENCE
After breakfast, make your way to the train station and board your high-speed train to Florence, traveling comfortably in Standard Class. Upon arrival in Florence, make your way to the hotel. Upon arrival in Florence, stroll the historic city center of Florence which is very easy to walk around. Admire many of the monuments of Florence including the Duomo, Piazza Della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. Treat yourself to some local specialties like a juicy Fiorentina steak with red wine.
In the afternoon, learn to master the most delicious of all Italian arts from the pros. Discover the tricks of the trade and make authentic, genuine pizza and gelato! Your expert chef will illustrate, and demonstrate, the secrets which lie behind the picture-perfect, scrumptious pizza. Then learn all about the history and tradition of Italian ice cream. You'll get to know about the heating and freezing techniques, and, of course, give your taste buds a real treat tasting exquisite artisan-made gelato. Meals: B

DAY 4: SIENA, SAN GIMIGNANO & CHIANTI
Today enjoy a full-day excursion to the Tuscan countryside, including Siena, San Gimignano, and Chianti. Enjoy the perfect mix of art, history, landscapes, food, and wine. Depart from Florence, and see the highlights of Siena, admire the marvelous Tuscan landscape, taste genuine Tuscan food paired with great wines, and finish your day relaxing in the hilltop village of San Gimignano. A full day to experience firsthand some of Tuscany's most breathtaking towns, where amazing views are around every corner. Meals: B

DAY 5: FLORENCE TO VENICE
After breakfast, make your way to the train station and board your high-speed train to Venice, traveling comfortably in Standard Class. Upon arrival in Rome, make your way to the hotel.
We suggest starting to explore the floating city and losing yourself in its fascinating maze of alleys, canals, and bridges. Venice city center. Get lost in the Venetian alleys, or take a Gondola Ride. Meals: B

DAY 6: VENICE FOODIE TOUR
This morning, meet your guide and begin your Venice walking tour by visiting a historic café. While your guide introduces you to Venice’s unique features you will start experiencing the characteristic lifestyle by enjoying a complimentary “colazione” espresso (or cappuccino) and the delicious taste of patisserie. Energized by the espresso discover the grandeur of St. Mark’s Square, its Basilica, and the Doge's Palace.
During your Venice walking tour, enjoy the chance to join the locals for traditional “Cicchetti”, luscious Venetian “tapas” made with local products, and refreshments. Then, see the fascinating Rialto Fish Market and crown your day with a final Venetian specialty tasting in the market (or local café on market closing days). Meals: B
