Breakfast at the hotel. Morning Gaudi’s at his origins as, Sagrada Familia, Casa Vicens and Güell Park. This tour around “Gaudí from his Origins” is the best way to learn about Antoni Gaudí and see his artistic evolution. We start with his first important project in Barcelona, Casa Vicens, and we end up with the most important work, the still unfinished Sagrada Familia, passing through Park Güell, one of his most emblematic works. Three works can be classified into three different architectural types: domestic, urban and religious. We will see how Gaudí combined perfectly the functionality of these three different places with his personal style.

Your first stop is the Casa Vicens and you will discover a different Gaudí style. In fact, this house has an unusual oriental and mudéjar aroma, but in some ways was ahead of the modernism style in Catalonia. This the eighth building in the city listed World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Located in the upper part of Barcelona with incredible views of the city, we find Park Güell, one of the most emblematic works of the architect Antoni Gaudí. At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time and the guide will tell you where to go to take the bus that will take you to the Sagrada Familia. We will visit the Sagrada Familia astonishing interior rich in symbolism, and with our guide, you will discover how Gaudí got most of his inspiration from nature, considered by the architect the God’s masterpiece. At the end of the visit the guide will take you to the elevator entrance for climbing to one of the towers. From the top of the tower, you will be able to admire the spectacular panoramic views of Barcelona. In addition, you will be able to visit the museum, Afternoon is at leisure to enjoy this wonderful city and surroundings. Meals: B

Early morning enjoy a tour to the Picasso Museum and Gothic Quarter with Breakfast at Palau de la Musica Catalana! The name of Barcelona comes from the Latin language, specifically from Barcino. This was the name the Romans gave to their foundation. Some remains of this primitive settlement are still visible at the Gothic Quarter, where we will take you to discover more things about the history of the city through its medieval cobbled and tortuous streets. You will learn more things about some of the most important places in the city, like Les Rambles and the Cathedral. The next part of the tour is the Born’s neighbourhood, where we will enjoy the fabulous view of Santa Maria del Mar Church, built in a superb gothic stile. Between narrow streets, we will find the Picasso Museum. This is the only museum that has been created whilst the painter was still alive, and it’s an interesting place to appreciate the beginning of his career. During the guided tour you will understand Picasso’s artistic evolution, always in parallel to his biography. We will continue our visit going to Palau de la Música Catalana, where we can take a local breakfast. Meals: B
