Itinerary
DAY 1: ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII – AMALFI
Travel on the Autostrada del Sole, driving through the regions of Lazio and Campania. Arrive in Naples for a panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell’Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. Visit a cameo and coral factory, before arrival in Pompeii. Visit the ruins of this famous roman city destroyed in 79 a.d. by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. After lunch continue our trip to Amalfi. DAY 2: AMALFI
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort or enjoy a swim in the sea. (B/D)
DAY 3: AMALFI – CAPRI
After breakfast the morning is at your disposal. Transfer to Sorrento for your magical experience in Capri, where we will spend the evening. (B)
DAY 4: CAPRI
Spend the day exploring the magnificent villas of Emperor Tiberius or visit the legendary Blue Grotto, made famous by Lord Byron. (B)
DAY 5: CAPRI – ROME
Morning leisure time in Capri. Transfer to Naples early in the afternoon where we shall start our trip back to Rome. (B)
