DAY 1: RAPOLANO TERME
Laticastelli is a secluded and quiet place, it is situated near Rapolano Terme only 20 minutes from Siena and 40 minutes and Florence, San Gimignano or Assisi in less than an hour. Laticastelli was originally a castle built in the thirteenth century which was destroyed and rebuilt as a farm and winery. The old cellars of the winery were recycled into La Taverna. Perched on a hill with a beautiful road of cypresses, an impressive view of the surrounding countryside, the village main street leads to a park with cedars and flowers; there is a polo field; farther away olive trees, vineyards and grain fields. The woods with winding paths make it an ideal place to ride, walk or just relax. Enjoy your day at the Rapolano Terme. Dinner and overnight in Laticastelli.
