Itinerary
Day 1: Rome –Naples − Pompeii – Amalfi
Early morning departure for Naples via Lazio and Campania. There will be a short panoramic city tour upon arriving in Naples, where you will see the Mergellina neighborhood, Castel dell’Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino, and the port. Lunch and guided tour of Pompeii. Continue on to Amalfi for the evening. (L/D)
Day 2: Amalfi
Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the wonderful coastal town of Amalfi. Take in the city’s many sites, plunge into the waters of the Gulf of Salerno, or sip on some of the locally-produced limoncello. (B/D)
Day 3: Amalfi – Pompeii –Rome
Morning at leisure in Amalfi. Depart for Pompeii in the early afternoon and continue to Rome. (B)
