In two days, journey from Rome towards Naples, with medieval villages to punctuate the way. Touring Naples, you can’t help but contrast its eclectic energy with the eerie desolation you’ll discover amongst the ruins of nearby Pompeii, which long ago suffocated from Mt. Vesuvius’s sudden eruption. Sorrento offers the chance to breathe fresh coastal air and rest your eyes on the Bay of Naples, while an excursion to Capri delights with its shimmering Blue Grotto
