DAY 1: MILAN - COMO
Travel by private car to Lake Como, an elegant city by the lake well-known for offering refuge to celebrities and Royals. While in Como enjoy the picturesque streets and cafés. Be sure to explore Piazza Cavour, and the Cathedral, after awing at its massive dome; continue through Piazza Verdi until you reach the San Fedele Basilica, famous for its circular shape and the Door of Saint Fedele. Two optional excursions will be available in Como. On the first, walk the streets of Stresa on the shores of nearby Lake Maggiore and board the boat to visit the picturesque Borromean Islands. On the second, take a 7-minute train ride from Como to Brunate, and admire the splendid panoramic view of the Lake Como. Check into your Lake Como hotel and enjoy a night of relaxation.
DAY 2: COMO - MILAN
This morning, enjoy breakfast at your hotel and free time to explore Como on your own. You may want to make your way over to Archaeological Museum Paolo Giovio and visit its impressive prehistoric ruins. This afternoon we will travel by private car to Milan, where you will have the option of adding a transfer to either the Malpensa or Linate airport.
