You’ll travel from Rome towards Naples, with medieval villages to punctuate the way. Touring Naples, you can’t help but contrast its eclectic energy with the eerie desolation you’ll discover amongst the ruins of nearby Pompeii, which long ago suffocated from Mt. Vesuvius’s sudden eruption. Sorrento offers the chance to breathe fresh coastal air and rest your eyes on the Bay of Naples, while an excursion to Capri delights with its shimmering Blue Grotto

Itinerary
Day 1: ROME – NAPLES – POM PEII – SO RRENTO
Begin by heading south along the Highway of the Sun, crossing the area known as ‘Castelli Romani’, dotted with enchanting medieval villages. After a panoramic sightseeing tour of Naples, we’ll continue to Pompeii. After lunch, experience Pompeii with a guided-tour. Continue along the picturesque “Costa Sorrentina” to Sorrento. L/D
DAY 2: SO RRENTO – CAPRI – SO RRENTO
After breakfast, travel to Capri. Weather conditions permitting, you’ll take a boat to the splendid Blue Grotto. Once back on the mainland, take a scenic drive to Anacapri, 280 metres above the sea level and experience spectacular views of the Bay of Naples. After lunch, enjoy your leisure time before returning to Marina Grande. Evening in Sorrento. B/L/D
Day 3: SO RRENTO – ROME
Breakfast and time to explore Sorrento before returning to Rome. B
