Welcome to Rome. Enjoy an afternoon tour of Rome with a stop at St. Peter’s Basilica. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner with typical Roman fare. (D)
Day 2: ROME
Enjoy a “special” half day walking tour with your guide. Afternoon at leisure. (B/D)
Day 3: ROME - GREVE IN CHIANTI
Depart for the infamous region of Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, where we arrive at the magnificent Castello Vicchiomaggio. Visit the winery for lunch and wine-tasting before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure. (B/L)
Day 4: GREVE IN CHIANTI
Depart for a full day in the medieval cities of San Gimignano and Siena. Lunch at leisure in San Gimignano followed by dinner at Castello Vicchiomaggio. (B/D)
Day 5: GREVE IN CHIANTI - FLORENCE - CASTELFRANCO - VENETO
There will be a morning walking tour of Florence. After lunch we make our way to the Veneto region, arriving in Castelfranco Veneto, the birthplace of the famous Renaissance artist, Giorgione. (B/D)
DAY 6: CASTELFRANCO - AS OLO - BASSAN O DEL GRAPA -CASTELFRANCO
Today we discover the Venetian countryside , with stops and tastings in Asolo and Bassano del Grappa. Dinner and evening at leisure in Castelfranco. (B/D)
Day 7: CASTELFRANC O - VENICE - MSC MUSICA CRUISE
Make our way to Venice for a morning walking tour. After lunch we are transferred to the pier to board the luxurious MSC Musica for your week-long cruise. (B)
