Itinerary
Day 1: MILAN – SANREMO – MONTECARLO - NICE
This morning we depart to Sanremo, defined as the city of flowers and sun and known all over the world for the Italian Song Festival. This little town offers great entertainment, warm beaches and its famous Casino is situated on the top of the most elegant, where you can explore the local shops. This afternoon enjoy some lunch on your own before we head over to Monaco and travel through the narrow streets, get out you camera’s and snap some pictures of the Aquarius, and the Cathedral. Proceed for Montecarlo, famous everywhere for its characteristic Grand Prix; here you can observe the futuristic palace Grimaldi Forum before we make our way back to Nice for overnight.
Day 2: NICE - ST. RAPHAEL – ST. TROPEZ – COSTA DEL ESTEREL - NICE
Following breakfast enjoy a full day of excursion of the French Riviera. First a visit of St. Raphael and St. Tropez, famous both for their beaches, then some free time for lunch. Then we travel back to Nice, through the Esterel Coast, best known as Corniche d’or, known for its wonderful panoramic views, beaches great peaks and rocky surrounded clear, shinny sea. Overnight.
Day 3: NICE – ST. PAUL DE VENCE – GRASSE – CANNES - NICE
We depart for St. Paul de Vence after breakfast to visit a small medieval village, which is surrounded by an old wall, built by Frank the 1st in 1537; Chagall and Prévert have spent many years of their artistic career here. Grasse is famous for the production of perfumes but also presents a nice historical centre, with Hotel de Ville and Notre-Dame Cathedral. We will visit Cannes, a modern town offering a fantastic beach resort and many cultural events. Return to Nice for overnight.
Day 4: NICE - MILAN
This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel and free time in Nice. After lunch we return to Milan.
