Rome - Naples - Pompeii - Amalfi - Capri - Rome

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ROME
Benvenuti a Roma! After you touch down at the airport, make your own way to your hotel. Check in and enjoy your first day in Italy.

DAY 2: ROME
After breakfast explore Rome on your own. Suggestions: Visit the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums, take a " Hop-on Hop-off" bus and travel all through the city or how about an "Espresso & Gelato" Tour! This evening enjoy a night tour with a panormic visit of Rome. ( meet at 8:30pm at the I LOVE ROME office). Overnight.

DAY 3: ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - AMALFI
After breakfast at your hotel, a coach bus will depart at 6:45am, travelling south through the regions of Lazio and Campania, where you will see a picturesque view of the Abbey of Montecassino. Upon arriving in Naples, we will have a panoramic city tour, seeing sites such as the Mergellina neighborhood, Castel dell’Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino, and the port. Lunch stop before arriving to Pompei. Afternoon visit to the excavations and then we continue on to Amalfi for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: AMALFI
A whole day to explore the wonderful coastal resort of Amalfi on your own, taking in the city’s many sites, plunging into the waters of the Gulf of Salerno, or sipping on some of the locally-produced limoncello. Return to your hotel for dinner .

DAY 5: AMALFI - CAPRI
After breakfast at your hotel, spend the morning strolling the streets of Amalfi and seeing any of the sights you might have missed the day before. Around 11:30am, we travel to Sorrento to board our boat to the Island of Capri. We check into our hotel .

DAY 6: CAPRI
Today you can explore the beauty of Capri, sometimes called the “Garden of Eden,” at your own pace. Discover the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful, sunny island or take a swim in the Gulf of Naples. If you’d rather take a day trip, you may book a separate excursion to nearby Anacapri, situated on the slopes of Monte Solario; the port city of Marina Grande; I Faraglioni, three impressive rock structures that have survived many kinds of erosion ; or visit the famous Villa Jovis, a residence built for the emperor Tiberius in the First Century BC. Return to your hotel for one last evening in Capri.

DAY 7: CAPRI - ROME
Spend a leisurely morning after breakfast doing some last minute sight-seeing in Capri. In the early afternoon, you will depart for Rome for one final overnight.
