Day 1. Rome
Upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino airport, transfer to your hotel. Free time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2. Rome
After breakfast, enjoy a guided half-day tour of the eternal city including Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Navona Square and St. Peter Basilica . The tour ends in St. Peter Square. Time free at leisure in the afternoon. Return to your hotel and overnight. (B)

Day 3. Rome/Pompeii/Sorrento
Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short panoramic tour is featured. Then on to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 a.D. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations. We continue to Sorrento dnner and overnight. (B,L, D)

Day 4. Capri excursion / Optional Blue Grotto $)
After breakfast, depart to Capri by ferry for a guided tour of the Island by minibus. Stop in Anacapri for a short visit. Lunch at a local restaurant. Leisure time for shopping, strolling, people watching or the optional excursion to the Blue Grotto ($) . Ferry back and return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 5. Sorrento/Amalfi Coast
Breakfast at hotel. About noon, transfer to Amalfi. You will have a whole afternoon at leisure in Amalfi to visit the area on your own, to relax by the Mediterranean Sea or to shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B, D)

Day 6. Amalfi Coast
Breakfast at hotel. Today you’ll enjoy an entire day at leisure to explore the area. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (B, D)

Day 7. Amalfi Coast/Florence
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to railway station for your train to Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Upon arrival transfer on your own to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for a first visit of the city on your own. Overnight. (B)

Day 8. Uffizi Gallery Visit (not Mondays) / Optional Accademia gallery visit $)
After breakfast free morning to explore Florence - Optional Accademia gallery visit ($). In the afternoon, reach the meeting point. Your walking tour will explore the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Palazzo Vecchio and Loggia dei Lanzi, Repubblica square, the Cathedral with the Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Baptistery with its famous Gates of Paradise. At the end of the walking you will enter the Uffizi Gallery (Monday closed) to visit its beautiful collections of painting from the Italian Renaissance. The tour ends on the Uffizi’s terrace to admire the beautiful view on the Ponte Vecchio and the typical goldsmiths’ shops. Overnight. (B)

Day 9. Florence / Siena / San Gimignano / Chianti / Florence
After breakfast , reach the meeting point where you will depart for a full day excursion through the Tuscan countryside, including a stop in San Gimignano, a picturesque, fascinating medieval town declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its white wine,, Vernaccia . Your day will continue to Siena, a medieval town with the suggestive Piazza del Campo famous for the Palio. In the afternoon, we visit the Chianti area with its impressive picture-postcard landscape and, at a famous wine estate for wine-tasting. We return to Florence for overnight (B, WT)

Day 10. Florence/Cinque Terre/Florence
After breakfast, reach the meeting point where you will departure for a full day excursion to the enchanting Cinque Terre (Five villages). suspended between sea and land listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. We arrive in La Spezia and reach Riomaggiore by train and continue to visit the villages of Manarola and Monterosso . Take the boat (depending on weather/sea condition) to Vernazza, a seaside town . Lunch is included en route. In addition to comfortable clothes Return to Florence for overnight. (B, L) ** Reommended to bring comfortable clothes , swimwear and sun protection **

Day 11 Florence/Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer on your own to Santa Maria Novella Station to catch the train to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, transfer to hotel on your own. Overnight. (B)

Day 12 Rome/Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Fiumicino airport. (B)
